I have firefox 7 and still get warnings "You are using an old version of Firefox which Gmail no longer supports or Google Plus incompatible. How can I fix?

When I tried to join Google Plus I get the message Browser no longer supported. First Happened when using firefox 6.0.2 and still happens now with FF 7.
Also Gmail shows "You are using an old version of Firefox which Gmail no longer supports. Some features may not work correctly"
and at the bottom of this page the "educated guess" about my browser shows 3.0.15

That is why Google is reporting old version.
You need to ether find out why or create a new profiles and see if this line is gone. [[Profiles]]
There is some verbose about MS, but I don't know of any MS add-on that would do this.

So far, I looked at your first solution, Revo Uninstaller and it gives you a 30 free trial. Ergo, it will eventually cost money so I'm leery of using those kinds of programs in general, meaning most "free trials" have unwanted strings attached and often are big probs to get rid of later. Perhaps you can assure me that it is easy and very user friendly, before I proceed. And I already ran malwarebytes and it found nothing tho the program still can't be uninstalled. I downloaded Adw Cleaner and during the install, my Norton's security popped up and warned that there were (low risk) threats with two of their "other offers" and i hadn't even actually clicked to agree either of them. Nonetheless, Norton warned me against the "lyrics finder" and "deal ply." In fact, there was a box already with an x in it, saying that you are accepting deal ply if you x on "next." Well, except I unchecked that box before clicking on next, yet when it went to fully install, it still showed that it was adding itself; so, just before the install was 100% completed, I had to abort the whole thing. I really do hope your other suggestions are programs that you personally know that they don't try and trick you. But right now, I would not suggest Adw Cleaner to anyone. I even read the fine print about what they will try and install and how to decline and it still tried sticking stuff on that i believed I had declined. Anyways, i have to leave now, shall pick up later this evening, if my pc is still functioning.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Have you previously synced photos to your iPad ? If so try deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-try the photo sync and see if they then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314

When Firefox 4 was released this week, I installed it and it replaced Firefox 3.6.15. For some reason it seems it didn't install the full version of Firefox 4, instead it's a similar version to the Beta version. For example, the drop down on Google search doesn't work when you click on an item in the drop down. Also the orange button that is supposed to replace the buttons on the top left of the browser is not there. It still has the 8 buttons, ie File, Edit, etc. How can I get the full version to install on my computer? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and I get the same result. About:config can change pretty much anything about firefox. Most everything you do in about:config won't do any harm, but Firefox has to display the warning for political/legal reasons. I change settings in about:config all the time, and I haven't lost anything yet.
Once you accept the message, on the top you will see a "filter" box. Type, or paste "general.useragent" into that box. If anything there is bold, then your useragent is tricking Gmail. Right click on each bold entry and click "Reset" from the drop-down menu. You can close about:config and restart firefox.
If that doesn't work, there's a good chance you are still running an old version of firefox. This article on [[Updating Firefox|Updating Firefox]] should help you get to the new version.

iTunes and iCloud are not the same.
On your device go Settings > iCloud > Delete Account > Sign in with the new Apple ID
This will seperate your Contacts and Messages. You both can continue to use the same Apple ID for iTunes and share apps and music
