Anyone using new wi fi calling... I have gone thru the instructions to set up the calling..Including dowloading latest updates to my phone but its not working... Nopt sure I fully understand what it can do for me.When set up Can I make wi fi calls/text to mobiles on other networksor phones not listed as for use with wi fi calling ??
If you can't find it in Settings > General > Network > Personal Hotspot then have you checked with your carrier to see if they support it on the iPad (even if they support it on the iPhone they don't necessarily also support it on the iPad) ? It might also be an extra fee/subscription from them - you could also check to see if there are any carrier updates available : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1970

I have successfully deauthorised my old computer but a unable to authorise my new machine. I have followed the instructions but there is no option on the store menu to 'Authorise this computer'. Please help!
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -

I am trying to authorize my computer, I have followed the on screen instructions but it does not give me the option to authorize.
Please help!Always remember to 'de-authorize' you computer when selling or sending for service. If sending for repairs you might not get the same mother board or HD back and some how this counts as an authorized computer against your count.

I have followed instructions for transferring my iTunes library from my MacBook Pro to my iPod. The summary window shows lots of unused memory and it partly fills when I hit "sync," but then returns to nearly empty and the music does not show up on my iPod--"no music." Any suggestions would be appreciated. l've read all the instructions I can find. Thanks.

I had to change computers and cannot access my old drive. iTunes shows me the list of songs but I cannot get most to play. Instead I get a message saying "cannot locate"

I tried de-authorizing all computers and then re-authorizing this on but it still doesn't allow me to access most of my songs.It sounds like you might have broken links to your content. Either repair these by putting the files you've recovered where iTunes expects to find them or delete the broken entries then go to iTunes Store > Purchased > Music > Not on This Computer, and click the download links.

While downloading an album in from the Store, one song was interrupted. I have followed the instructions from apple about resuming the download, but every time I do so the same error message appears saying the download was interrupted. I am having no connection problems, have rebooted my computer, downloaded the lates version of iTunes, etc., yet nothing changes. Has anyone else experienced this, and are there any workarounds. Sadly the problem hit on one of the best songs of the album.
I had the same problem so (assuming under the Purchased items in the Store you have a song stuck at 'Downloading'):
I went to Music, then Artists.
From there I chose the album.
The song that failed to download had the cloud symbol next to it.
I clicked the cloud symbol and the song completed the download for me.
(Please note this was in iTunes for Windows - I expect it to be similar in iTunes for Apple)

Try my little "trick" (must be running iOS 4.3 or better)
Download the app "Download Manager Lite" (FREE) or "Download Manager" Full ($ 1.99 USD)
After downloading, transfer it to iTunes
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
After transferring, Go to your iDevice (on itunes), to the apps page, scroll down, you can add/save videos and/or files.
Click on "Add", find the folder of which your movies are being downloaded. Its much faster than syncing from itunes.
You can do the wi-fi transfer, the best part is that you don't have to be connected to the same wi-fi.
You will get 2 different URLs you need to type on your computer. Type the Web URL not the ftp URL. After that, you should have access to the app, without the need of itunes.
Click on Add, find the folder of where your movies are stored, faster than syncing with iTunes.

Might you have a newly acquired iPad that is still locked to someone else's Apple ID? If that is the case, then you will need the former owner's Apple ID and password to proceed. That feature is called Activation Lock and described here:

If you cannot get that former owner's Apple ID and password, you will never be able to use the iPad. -

I followed the instructions, but once I turn on "Home Sharing", the word "Shared" disappears from the left hand column of the iTunes window. So, where can I link to my other computer so I can share my music??
Make sure that the iTunes version is updated on your computers that you are using for Home Sharing. Also, I think that all of the computers have to be on with iTunes pulled up while you are trying to transfer data.
You have to have Home Sharing turned on with both computers. If you do have Home Sharing turned on with all of your computers, are your 'Shared' computers all authorized under the same account? If not, they should be.
Have you checked 'Share my library on my local network' in preferences? You should have the box checked for both computers.
