The usual reasons for an Apple ID getting disabled are either unauthorized activity or violations of the Terms & Conditions.
Submit your request to iTunes Customer Service and if appropriate, they will re-enable it. -

Almost everyone here would suggest you do so on your own computer via iTunes, but you can also do using iCloud. -

You do not need to "sign up" for downloading updates. Just run Software Update and let it access them directly thru the App Store.

My Apple ID is not an email address. Is there any way to keep this for an iCloud account, or must I set up a new account with an acutal address?
I see this as fraught with problems since I will have two apple IDs for my iPhone.My iTunes/iPhone ID is the same ID I use here, and for all Apple related matter, i.e. all my Mac product registrations, etc.
Wanted to use it for everything.
I had problems when I set up a new an iCloud Apple ID using an email address as my username (required) as it resulted in sync problems. It somehow became the primary iPhone ID and I ended upn with apps purchased on the phone that wouldn't sync to the desktop iTunes. -

What are you capturing from? You may not hear the auido as it's captured but it will be there. After it's captured can you see the audio waveforms? Do the audio meters move when you play the clip? If so then go to "View" then "Audio Playback" and set it to 'Built-in Output" if you're monitoring audio through the computer.

Anyway - you can get around this problem with the application loader by just opening the epub with the app store application directly - no need to go through application loader at all.

Check and see that the silent mode switch on the upper left side is toward the front of the iPhone and there is no orange or red showing.

If you aren't getting the reset link on your account then you don't have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

I bought iCloud memory via that same account no problem.
When setting up iCloud on iPad you cannot have a primary iCloud account unless it has an email address .
Made new account as per instruction ie [email protected] works fine
BUT as I want to utilise the money spent on the additional memory it would be great to use the initial account set up as my primary HOWEVER as far as I have tried the initial apple ID CANNOT be changed.
