I have found a Much easier way to find Which Universe a report is based on.

A few weeks ago I asked the question of how to find out which Universe a specific report was based on. I got many VERY involved answers that did work, they involved using the query builder and writing down a very long id then running that through the query builder and you evenutally got your answer.
Then easy way is to open the report in desigenr, Go to the database expert, right click on query1 or what ever you named your query and chose edit command, scroll to the top of the fields colunm and the universe is listed at the top.
If you want to know the connection used by the universe, simply open it up in Central Management Console and the connection used will be listed on the properties page.

I'm heartened you've found an easier method to find the Universe used in a Crystal Report appropriate for your deployment.
One of the issues with the Query Panel is that it doesn't display the folder under which the Universe if found, problematic when you have a deployment with same-named Universes in different folders. Using the CUID value is recommended if so, since it does not change with deployment, migration or name change.

Various ways:
Easy one: Flag the ones you want to keep (do this in the Album - Select All and Flag)
Then:
File -> New Smart Album
Event -> contains -> Name of the Event
Photo -> Is Not -> Flagged
will find the unwanted 150.

Easy way to find out what iBot reports a user gets?

I am looking for a easy way to get a list of iBots each user gets daily in OBIEE 10g. The only way I know is opening each ibot and checking the Recipients tab which is going to be very time consuming for me as I have 500 users and numerous ibots.

This information is stored in XML for the iBot/Agent object. Since this information is stored in the Catalog Manager you can conduct an Export of the iBot/Agent objects and then parse through the XML using an open source parser library, Java, or other scripting, even PL/SQL to get the subscriber and recipient information out of the iBot/Agent object.
That is really the best way, if not the only way.

A belated hello. On the topic of duplicate songs / tracks showing up in, say, your iPhone Music app but not in your iTunes Library, with these versions installed ....

iPhone 4 running on iOS 5
.... I discovered this too. This is what I did:
1. purchased full album from the iTunes Store
(once download completed, album magically showed up in iPhone Music app, as expected, without having to sync)
2. I then went to my iTunes Music view and edited the album year (Multiple Item Information)
3. Synced
4. All album tracks showed up in duplicate in iPhone Music app (but not in iTunes view)
Solution:
1. in iTunes, I changed back the album year to the one iTunes Store originally downloaded
2. Re-synced
3. Now all album tracks show up but no longer in duplicate in iPhone Music app
Lesson learned: When purchasing music from iTunes Store, leave metadata untouched.

The only way you'll be able to do that is to login to Outlook Web Access, or possibly setup an IMAP client to that user's mailbox or have TAC run the DohPropTest in attach mode to return the contents of the user's inbox. If the first two don't work, I'd go with the latter and let TAC help you verify if there are any messages in the inbox that are unread.

If you have facing pages, you have to set up the document with facing pages that is what is it for. If you have a spreadwide design as above, keep the spreads together. There is not even one reason not to do so.
Only for wire-O-bindings might a different workflow useful, but also with facing pages documents and only when the left page and the right page have not a spread wide design:

1. Create a document with Facing Pages.
2. Select the Spread in the Page Panel (Window > Page Panel) and in the panel’s flyout menu deselect "Allow Selected Spread to Shuffle". The spread’s page number will appear in brackets.
3. Select a single page of the spread and drag it to the side until a vertical bar appears.
4. Now you have the result.
Left and right pages have their own spread and will have a bleed around each page without taking information from the other page.

I'm glad Mrhelper was able to shed some light on this for you! In iPhones, the amount of data you're seeing under each app is for the "Current Period." Just above that list you'll see info about the Current Period and Current Period Roaming. This is just an overall snapshot of total data usage for that period of time. The Current Period does not reset on its own, so it will be counting everything from the last time you reset it through now. You can reset it by scrolling to the bottom and tapping on "Reset Statistics."
So, for example, if you reset your statistics 3 days ago and then there's 1GB used under App Store you'll know that over the last 3 days 1 GB of data has been used for the App Store.

My grandson's ipod touch gen 4 was stolen so I picked up a used ipod touch gen 2 only to find out I can't upgrade beyond 4.2.1 iOS, so I am trying to find apps that run on that iOS. Enter an unfriendly App Store for those of us not used to using it!

This JKI RCF Plugin sets the Visible Frame property of a Case Structure while the owning VI is running. Use it to follow the execution through the cases in your string-based State Machine/Sequencer when Execution Highlighting isn't fast enough (and, it's never fast enough).
The use-case I wrote this to improve is setting a Breakpoint on the Error wire coming out of the main Case Structure and probing the Case Selector terminal so I can float-probe wires during execution. The problem with this is that I had to manually select the current frame every time. This is boring, so I developed this plugin to automatically set the Visible Frame to the case most recently executed.
You might be able to adapt it to your needs. The basic idea is that a custom probe on the wire to the Case structure's selection terminal sends a notification to a VI that displays the appropriate case.
We might be able to help you develop something easier if you'll give us more information. Is it OK if the code to display the case is in the same VI?

I am developing a query on 0TCT_C21. Is there a way to find which process chains were scheduled to run? I want to see only those process chains.
If 0TCT_C21 does not have the information, is it a way to get from somewhere else (i.e., some other tables using virtual characteristic or so ...).

You need to use a combination of tables and function modules.
Table TBTCO contains list of jobs with job status 'S' for scheduled
Table TBTCP contains the program name and variant scheduled in that job
you need to use a function module to know the chain name using the above program name and variant.
I have written a sample code to do this. feel free to change it as per your needs.

Is there an easy way to find out if the GPIB/ENET adapter is connected to the computer?

I'm using Component Works for Visual Basic and have no problem with my software on computers with PCMCIA GPIB adapters. The GPIB driver seems to know if the adapter is in the computer or not.
When my software is used on a computer where the GPIB/ENET adapter is not powered on, the software seems to lock up but eventually comes back with an error. Since there doesn't seem to be an easy way to determine if an adapter is present my code just assumes it's there, which doesn't work with the GPIB/ENET GPIB dll. Is there any way I can look for the board before querying for instuments on the bus?

One possible solution would be to ping the ENET box. If you know the IP of the box, a simple ping should immediatly let you know the status of the box.

Is there a way to find which songs aren't on playlists in my library?

I have more songs in my library than on my ipod because I must have forgotten to put some into a playlist. (I put the songs on my ipod by choosing the individual playlists I have finished). Is there a way to find out which songs aren't in a playlist so I can add them to the appropriate ones.
P.S: I don't want to just sync all songs because I listen to my ipod by playlists and I would never end up hearing them if they're not in one.

Yes, you can make a new Smart Playlist, with the criteria "Playlist is not Playlist_name", repeated for every playlist you have on your iPod. Have it set to "Match all of the following rules".

It will tell you that currently "OBJECT_NAME" is being accessed; but i think it is for full table scan.
