I have found a solution to 1 (of the many) battery problems!

hey, for the last couple of weeks I have been experimenting with my ipod mini (4gb) last month it had battery problems (what's new?) and it shut itself off every couple of seconds even just minutes of taking it off charge! so I searched this web site for answers, everyone recommended re setting it, I decided to not reset it anyway (as many other people said it usually does nothing)also because my friend said he had the same problem and in the end it just fixed for no particular reason! my brothers friend also said this, so I decided to 'test' my battery, for about 3 days in a row I used it everyday and charged every night, all that happened was the same thing, it said it had no battery power left, so next... I left if for about 5 days, charged it and since then it has not stopped.
so in the end its kinda left to common sense, don't charge it every single day! let it sit for about 2-3 days every week or so... my experiment may not be correct... but it worked for me, if it doesn't work for you then it may be something else that fixed it, sorry if this doesn't help...

Probably because you were giving advice about the battery that conflicts with what is in Apple's own support pages. There is usually a link at the bottom of a locked post that gives a specific reason for the closure, but the link in your message seems to be broken, so this is just speculation.

My Flash CC crashes all the time, it's always been doing it since when I started using it on CS4, and I've somewhat given up on this bug being fixed, it crashes at least 20-30 times every document I create. I'm using a Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen&Touch tablet and drawing a lot, I think the problem is that it can't handle this much drawing.
Anyways, it just crashed and for the first time after reopening I found this nice message from Flash:
"Adobe has found a solution or workaround for the recent crash in Adobe Flash CC.
Please click here for further details."
Excited, I clicked on it! At last, a solution! Amazing!
...but it just points to http://www.adobe.com/
... I don't understand.
What's happening? I'm genuinely puzzled.

Yes, this is not good -- you're already mad when it crashes, then "We found a solution!" But, for me clicking on the link does nothing - no link even to adobe, just a tease - nothing opens.
It's bad enough crashing a couple times a day and losing work (I do save every chance I get), but then to get taunted with this bogus message, it's discouraging and exactly the best 'user experience' for a really expensive product from company that is all about helping professionals create good design/user experience ..
I like the way this is headed though! it just doesn't work right now.

Im pretty sure what you are looking at is Set up Assistant where it shows different languages on the slider. If I am right then just slide to unlock and follow the prompts to choose your language, country etc.

it's definitely NOT the firmware update, as evidenced by the fact that i haven't installed either of the two recent firmware updates yet.

they're sending me a new battery for free, and they'll do the same for you.
this is happenning to so many mb's and mbp's that it's becoming an expensive issue for apple :o(.

Here is the approach
1. Create a new Project
2. Drag a dataTable component on default page (created by creator)
3. Remove column 3
4. Remove dummy data from Column 2
5. drag OutputText Object into Column2
6. drag Image component into column 2
7. drag checkBox component into Column 2. Now youe Page1.jsp code should look like something like Below

I found a solution for my "iTunes has stopped working" problem

iTunes was opening ok but would only play music; if I tried doing anything else like importing music or even navigating around it would crash with a "itunes has stopped working" message and shut down.
I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes twice with no luck. I searched for hours for a solution and finally figured it out.
What the problem was is a corrupt user profile. I determined this by creating a new user account on my computer, opening itunes under this new account, and doing the things that would make it crash under my original account.
Since it worked fine under my new account, I had to then transfer all of my user profile info from my previous account to my new one. Which is kind of a pain in the butt but not too bad.
There are instructions for doing this on the Microsoft site. One thing to make sure if that you setup the new account as an admin (the way I did it, per the instructions, was to setup a third account that transferred the files from the original to the new account) and to share all files under the user profile with "Everyone" so that they can be copied and transferred. I did have trouble trying to copy all of the files at once and paste. It didn't work. So I ended up copying individual folders and pasting them into the new account. You only need to do this with the folders that contain your individual data, e.g. My Music, My Pictures, etc. The way I figured out which folders and files to transfer was trying to open them under the new account. If they wouldn't open, they didn't need to be transferred. Anyway, rely on Microsoft instructions for this, I'm not a computer wiz myself.
Hope this helps someone because it took me a couple of days to figure it out!

Adobe CS4 products were never meant to be transferred. It breaks the licensing and you get this error.
There is a License Recovery tool for the Mac, download that from:

For OSX 10.7 and above you can try fixing it using the Python Script and Terminal app. If you succeed, this will save you from Plan B, reinstalling Photoshop and illustrator plus all the updates.
So basically
Open Terminal
Type sudo and leave a space
Then download and unpack the LicenseRecovery111 dmg.
Inside you will find the License Recovery folder and inside that you will see "LicenseRecover.py
Drag LicenseRecover.py into the Terminal Window and press "enter" You should see this:
Enter your admin password. Ignore the fact that the cursor does not move and press Enter again.
Follow the instructions, and when done, you can quit the Terminal.
It should then be repaired. Try starting your programs.

TS3074 I have Windows 8.1 and am having the "error 7" problem but I do not know how to fix it

I have an HP Windows 8.1 laptop that has been having problems, so I just got it serviced. They gave it back to me without most of my programs on there. I tried downloading itunes and thought that I had successfully, but I was wrong. Since then I have downloaded itunes 5 seperate times with the same results. At first it was Error 2 talking about my Apple Application support not being found, and I found out I had to download QuickTime and that solved that problem. Now it comes up "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)." Also, it has an iTunes.exe-System Error. It says that "the program can't start because MediaAccessibility.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have been trying to fix this and would really love some help!

Macs! I have found a solution for an u44m1p7 error.

This might not be the cause for your problem, but have a look at the error log (shown when you press More Information after the update fails) and see if there is any mention of Adobe folder in Applications not being there to load the necessary patches.
It relates to Applications/Adobe folder.
Look at your folder, then see if it is actually a proper folder, and not a tiny Unix file (a dark grey icon). If it is little file delete it.
Re install the photoshop or indesign app, and it should work.
For non techies like me, the reason is that the patches need a home to go in. The computer is getting confused between a folder and a file with the same 'Adobe' name. Now you've deleted it the installer can create it's own in that place and put all the patches in there.
Adobe team- please check this and let people know.
If anyone else has this problem, share if it has worked.

Please check "Applications" folder, you would see a file named "Adobe".
Kindly delete the file, as it is corrupt.
Create a folder "Adobe" in Applications folder, issue should be fixed.

Firefox sticks in processes and will not reopen and the answers I have found here I don't understand the jargon

after I have closed firefox and then try to reopen it will not do so. I have to go into task manager and end process. firefox then starts but appologizes for not being able to restore tab that I had closed before I closed firefox. This has only started happening since upgrading to 3.6. It happens on my laptop and my mates main computer. We both run Zonealarm if thats got anything to do with it. I hope someone can help as I have used fire fox for quite a few years and never been beaten before.

I have a RED project that is giving me many weird problems in color:

Certain shots show up as a freeze frames. Other problem shots not only show just a freeze frame but also are frozen in the handles of the shot! Please help.

first, what format is your sequence? I've generally found that you need to massage your sequence before sending to color. Putting everything you want to correct on one track and duplicating your sequence and deleting other tracks. Have you applied any other filters to clips besides the 3way color correct? Any speed changes? Multiclips? Imported graphics?
When I decided to use color to color correct a feature doc a couple of years ago, it took me about a week to clean up the sequence before I was able to successfully send it to color.

Soooo, annoying. I don't understand how Adobe can have 20+ years of experience with Illustrator and still not have fixed a few simple things. I keep getting the corrupt preferences warning every time i open ill. I can't find any solutions anywhere for this. What is the deal?
If anyone can let me know how I can take care of this annoyance I would really appreciate it. It's driving me crazy.

I've deleted the settings folder. No effect. If I reboot Ill will present the same warning. If I close Illustrator for a couple hours, same thing. It's a common problem. I've seen plenty of people on the web complaining about it, including on this forum, but have never found any solutions that work. The common suggestion is to either move the settings folder or delete it altogether and have illustrator rewrite the pref file but like most other people out there, that hasn't worked. The issue is recurring. The other is to delete the pref file upon illustrator start up. Still same issue. No matter what, when illustrator closes it corrupts the pref file or when it opens it doesn't recognize the pref file as valid. Quite annoying. So, my recent files don't show up, my keyboard shortcuts, gone, my scratch disk settings, units, all of that has to be redone everytime. My workspace is unaffected though. So really, it's just the pref file. It really is quite annoying. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
