It also occasionally says the following when I try to even open iphoto: "Your photo library will not be readable by previous versions of iPhoto after the upgrade. The upgrade process for very large libraries may take an hour or more to complete." So, I am scared to hit "upgrade" for fear I will never recover any of the images as the wording in this quote seems odd. The photos are not in the trash. Did I lose them all? Do you know if/how I can retrieve them?

Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

I don’t have a rescue email adress and I don’t know the answers to the security questions, so I have no way of changing the ICloud password. If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

They told me to bring it to the genius at the apple store. They will change it for free but I don't have any physical place to back up my computer, they said it will take a coupe of days. I am not really sure if I have to back it up.

Yesterday, I imported all my contact information from my old phone to my brand new iPhone 4S at an AT&T store. Everything looked fine, but all the first names and the last names were switched. So, I had to correct all contact information manually again. It was so ridiculous.
When I corrected the contact information, the names on my contact list were not changed immediately. For example, when the name of a person, ‘Doe John’, was changed to ‘John Doe’, the name on the contact list was not changed and remained as ‘Doe John’. After I rebooted my iPhone, the name on the list was changed correctly. Do I have to reboot every time when I switched the first name and the last name?

Photoshop doesnt have an ability to fill a text box so you will have to create a layer underneath the text layer. A shape layer work work well. That can be filled and stroked quite easily with editability.

sounds like you broke the display when you dropped it. There's nothing we users here can do for you.
Since the iPhone warranty does not cover accidental damage, you will have to pay to have your phone repaired or replaced. You can bring it into Apple for an out of warranty exchange in the country of purchase, or you can find a 3rd party iPhone repair store in your area.

Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.

Is the same true for using the App Store with a desktop machine? Someone installed a program on my machine (the IT department) and I would like to install the updates but it was installed under a different Apple ID. This anyone know how to change, or work around this particular issue?

Should I change the pricing procedure in SD ?

we are running sales orders with a certain pricing procedure now for a long time. There are a lot of change requests for this pricing procedure, including structural changes like new sums and changes of positioning of a conditon type within the procedure. Should I change the existing pricing procedure to meet the new requirements or should I create a new procedure with a complete new structure, sums etc ?
Please advice. What are possible problems, which can occure in one or the other method.

Hi Rauno,
You should definitly copy the current pricing procedure and make your changes to the copy.
The only disadvantage is that you can't mix old and new flows into e.g. the same billing document ( = pricing procedure is split criterium ).
But the BIG advantage is that all your old flows will not get inconsistent 100% guaranteed ( when you 'look' at them, or do e.g. VA02 on an old flow etc..)
