I have four skype accounts

You have my sympathy, such a frustrating experience - I am posting a question here because I seem to have a very basic problem that some helpful person might assist me with , please, please. I have four skype accounts, I had trouble operating them when I moved overseas and it was easier to get a new one. Two of these accounts were in credit. I now have the user names and passwords but these
accounts all open into "My Account" and there is no credit (now 1 year old at least) on any of them.
Question - how do I get from My Account to mythe screen with my Contacts????
The FAQs section says the screen with my contacts on will open when I login. How do I get from My Account to the My Contacts page?
All suggestions/advice gratefully accepted

One is for my online life, and the other is for those who I care about in my offline life; why can I only access the (original) account for my online 'friends'? We have 2 Skype accounts uat the same Email address. After opening the second account and putting $60 USD on it via Skrill. we cannot use the new address as it keeps going back to the original address which has no funds for unlimited USA calls

with the other account loaded, click menu Skype << Sign Out (File >> Sign Out for Mac). Then the login window will appear where you can login using the username and password of the account you wish to use.

I currently already have a skype account that is linked to my microsoft email.... This account works on my iPhone and windows 7 laptop, but it will not let me login on my Xbox One..... It keeps telling me to check my skype name and password......

I don't think that there is a function if Firefox for backing-up settings but you could note them all down if you're really serious about wanting to back it up.
Also, you could try using an add-on called [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/backupfox/?src=api BackupFox] , which backs-up your bookmarks and/or history as they change.

Easily done.
You will need two things to do this:
1. Your Domain.sites file, which holds everything you create in iWeb, and which lives in this location on the hard drive that created it;
2. An external hardware device which can move files from one machine to another. Most prefer a usb flash drive for this task.
Copy the Domain.sites file to the external device (you could even burn it to a disk, for lack of anything else, and then drag it back off on the other machine) and then just bring it to the desktop of the machine you want to edit with. Double-click it and iWeb will launch the Domain with your Site(s) for editing/publishing.

Have a Skype account on my desktop but can't sign ...

I'm not very tech savvy so here's the problem. I have Skype on my desktop and sign in using my Facebook account. I got a Kindle Fire HD for Yule and have the Skype app. When I try to sign in using my Skype name (Facebook email) and my password (Facebook password) it says I need to check my information. I've entered my Skype name exactly as it appears at the top of my Skype page and entered the password exactly as I use it to sign into Facebook. I'm frustrated. I have no trouble accessing Facebook on my Kindle, as is true for Twitter and other sites. It's only Skype that won't let me sign in and gain access on the Kindle. I do have my Facebook account linked to my Skype account on the desktop, if that makes any difference. Anyone have any suggestions? I could use some help! Thanks!!!

What were you doing when the window popped up? Do you have a DVD in the drive or have you plugged in any flash drives or other disks?
What programs are running?
It's really difficult to say for certain what this is. I would recommend you restart your machine. But if any applications stop the shutdown then make a note of which application it is and post back.
Otherwise if the reboot goes ok and the machine comes up without that window it's safe to chalk it up to gremlins and hopefully it won;t come back.
As I said if the shutdown is stopped or the window appears again, post back.

However, when I signed it frm my PC/Windows, I think I must have an old Skype account as it no longer shows the same contacts or my $25 credit! To identify an account used to purchase an item:
In iTunes, select one of the items purchased from the iTunes store. Click on "Purchased" under iTunes store on the left side of iTunes.
Right click --> get info.
On the Info tab will be the Apple/iTunesID used to purchase the item.
You cannot combine accounts. Anything bought with one will permanently be associated to that account. Decide which one will be your main one and just use it. Keep stuff from the other backed up so you don't have to log into that account again unless essential.

Depends on what you mean by "default account" and maybe what version of OS X you are using. (Your profile says "MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), Mac OS X (10.1.x)" but MBP-R can't run 10.1.x.

Hi Noticed that the top of my mac is nearly too hot to touch. Did a search online and found out about the hardware test. Looked up online user manual for my mac (Processor 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 10.8.4) and noted how to perform the test. However, when I keep my finger on the D button through start up it just brings me right to the screen where I have to sign in to my desktop account (there are four accounts on the desktop as it is a family mac). Am I doing something wrong.

I have followed all the links and apparently this must be done through support/service ... the links just send me back around in circles !
