I have both an iPod and iPad 2. Latest I have sync. iPod and now I want to sync iPad, but iPad is not shown in iTunes when connected. I have the latest iTunes version.
If your computer starts image capture or some other camera software you should be able to quit that and then your iPad will show up in iTunes. Mine does this all the time.
The preference on what to start up when a "camera" is connected is found in Image Capture. So start Image Capture. It's in the applications > Utility folder. Then look for preferences. In my version it's in the lower left corner. Select None or Nothing and quit the program. From then on your iPad should show correctly in iTunes. But you will most likely have to start your smear software manually when you do connect a camera to your computer. -

I have a new iPod and cannot get my music loaded on to it. The computer says it's not connected, and then it says it is synced but there's still no mucis on it.
If that's not a real email, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

im just trying to update my daughters ipod and now its not being detected by itunes when i try to hook it up after the update it said restoing itunes the it showed the icon to hook up to itunes so when i did nothing no ipod detected so i diconectend the usb and reinserted it and still no ipod detected any help
Try connecting the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode and restoring it again. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to get the iPod into recovery mode.

I just synced my iphone 3gs after downloading the safari update. Now I can't open any apps except the ones that came with the phone. I have tried rebooting, turning it off and on.
When I select the icon, it goes to the page then returns to my screensaver.
It was working well before the update and sync with my Acer netbook. Have never had any problems with itunes store or downloads.this happened to me with my iPhone 4. I researched the problem and found this :
"The reason this happens is because every time a downloaded app is opened it checks for your itunes password for validation that you are authorized to open that app (as it may contain personal info). From time to time the iphone 'forgets' your itunes password. You can fix the missing password by syncing the iphone with itunes or downloading an app from the app store and entering your password that way.”
And to fix it, all I did was download a new app, or delete a current one, I used Facebook, and re-download it.

The common way is to use the FIle Sharing associated with the app.
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Transfer files and follow the instructions. -
I have moved my @me mail to icloud and now i am unable to log on through my mail on my mail. Do i need to change the servers or something?

Delete your mail account from Mail preferences and set it up again using the Mail Server Information.

I went to apple store to buy the app "cd labeler" but i don´t know if it´s possible to print a cd, because when went to Canon to download the last version of cd label printer, there´s no for this last version of mac osx .
Even so is possible to print a cd?

We have 2 apple computers and 3 ,4g iphones can i sync all without looseing data and how?
Our family has the mac computers and i phones. I am fearful of deleating all information from either or all when I plug them in.
An iPhone can sync to one and ONLY one iTunes library at a time. Pick a machine for each phone to sync to and stick with it. It would also be wise to make sure each family member has their own user account on each machine, especially the machine(s) used for syncing to maintain the integrity of their data and avoid cross contamination.
Best practice says use a unique iTunes ID for each family member as well.
