I have had itunes with 32 bit and windows xp for several years. I now have a new pc with windows 7 64 bit. When I try to load iTunes 10.6.3 for my system I continue to get a message at the end of loading that the download was interupted and was not change

When I get the message that nothing has changed, I have had to press finish. The program then says to save in G:, but I no longer have a G; My former G: is now H: , but there is no opportunity to save it somewhere else. When I try to uninstall all of the itunes programs using itunes first, I get a message that "itunes helper. Resources is not a valid shortfile name. Any suggestions?
I have EVGA Ge Force GTX 550 Ti; Intel Core i7- 2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4 GHz; 16 GB 4x4 240 pin DDR3 hard drive and an MSI P67A Motherboard.
