Was a Restore one of the things tried.? [Attach the iPad to your computer and in iTunes click on your device. On the Summary page click on Restore and go through the process. Be sure to click YES to Restore from a previous backup.]

Why does my Ipad 2 keep going black ahd back to the apple logo. It eventually goes to the home screen and allows me to try something else but after about 30 seconds it happens again. I have already rebooted several times?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have had my iPad for ywo years and never had a problem until the last few months. When I'm on Facebook and now when I'm on a web page, it just shuts down and goes to home screen. I have heard other people have had this problem. How do you fix it???

I fainted and fell while holding my iPad and the screen cracked; it still works fine. It's just cracked. I feel horrible, it was a gift from my brother. have had this iPad for less than a year so it is still covered under warranties. Does this apply? If not how much to fix the screen? Please help

We've had our MBP for a year, set up with my Apple ID. Got an iPad recently and set up with husband's Apple ID. Would now like to sync the two and set up iCloud/PhotoStream between the two. How to do since have two different Apple IDs? Thanks!
Just out of curiosity, why did you elect to use a different id?. That seems to always make things difficult. If you have not had the pad for long, or have not bought a lot of stuff Nader the new id, you might want to think about erasing all content, turn off find my phone, wiping the pad and starting over.
You can sync 2 different ids ( at least move pictures, books and music back and forth) if you are syncing through I tunes on your computer, but I don't think you can cross feed I cloud streams. -
I have had my iPad for ten months, I bought it at Walmart and lost the reciete. Today I discovered a dead pixel. I have a one year warranty. Is it possible I can bring it into any retail store and have them repair it?
I dont know. Pj prob knows more than I. Only thing I had fixed was a classic Ipod(@apple) like 8-10 years ago. I wasnt even sure if i got a new ipod or not at the time. It did come back blank so maybe it was new. This whole thing was new to me at the time(I was about 13).
They should be able to do something. Even the warrenty and apple extended care SAYS it even protects against 2 claims of "misuse", say if you dropped it. They SHOULD be able to replace it or fix it no charge under warrenty. Youd think atleast. -
My wife had an iPad for a year and synced to our computer with no problem. I recently received an ipad2 and when I tried to sync using separate apple and iTunes passwords, under her computer user name, it appears I over-road her account and synced all her apps with my apps on my iPad. I then set myself up as a new user on our computer and tried to sync. I now get the error that my iPad is synced to another library. How can I start over without erasing all my data on the iPad?
Go back to her login. Unless you deliberately erased apps, they should all be there, both yours and hers! Then, you need to set up each iPad separately. You will notice that they have separate names for that very purpose.
There is no problem with multiple Apple IDs on the same iTunes on the same computer except... Apps are permanently associated with the ID that was originally used to obtain them. If you choose to update an app from inside iTunes and you're logged into the "wrong" ID, you must log out and back in again.
On the bright side, you can configure either or both iPads to sync with apps and music and movies, etc. from either or both IDs. Further, if you choose to update the apps from the iPads themselves, there is no need to log out/in. The device handles that. All you need is the correct password. In my case, I use the same password for both IDs to make things easier. -
I have had my iPad for 6 months. We recently had a power outage and my iPad was plugged in with the adapter that came with it. Since then I can not charge iPad with adapter, however I can charge it SLOWLY on my computer. Do you think the adapter got fried? Also do you HAVE to have iTunes with an iPad, they were charging me alot of fees for games I did not download NOR give my password to have them downloaded so I cancelled iTunes because fo too many fees. Could this have anyting to do with the battery not charging?

Well, something's definitely wrong if it won't charge from a wall outlet. Make an appointment at a Genius Bar or take it to an Apple certified repair provider.

There are alternatives. But none of them have Google street view, able to work on iOS 6. Apple should have offered this as a beta version, for a few more months instead of inflicting us with an inferior product. This iPad will probably be my last Apple product. A shame, because until last a few days ago, I thought the iPad and iPhone were fantastic.
Apple should quit their petty squabbling with, Google and Samsung and concentrate on supplying the best product.
Google and Samsung must be enjoying this particular fiasco. -

We have iPhone 4 and I plugged phone into after market hardwired plug in car (that we have used successfully for two years). The screen has gone black and wont turn on. Phone was charged. I have tried force quit- home screen and top button. iTunes is not recognizing phone when I plug into computer. help pls
FIRST charge with an Apple charger for at least 15 minutes. Then hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. Hold for up to 30 seconds. If nothing happens the phone hardware has failed.
