I have had my ipad in Mexico for 3 weeks. For the first two weeks it worked great. Suddenly I can't access my itunes, my ibooks, facetime, etc. At first I thought the problem was with items I was trying to purchase but it is more than that. Ideas???

As i stated initially, everything worked great for two weeks. The first problem I noticed was not being able to open Itunes. It would seem to load, click to a blank screen, and then go back to my icon page. The problem has spread to include anything that I want to browse and purchase, such as apps. Last night I found I could not use facetime either. Also I cannot use my NPR app. It downloads but when I touch an article I would like to read, the screen goes black and then returns to my original icon page.Not knowing what anything has to do with the problem, I have noticed that there are several apps that are in the process of being updated but will NOT update: Pinball Wizard, ibooks, Where's My Water, The Daily, and Pandora Radio. I am in Morelia, Mexico. We have a good internet provider. That does not seem to be the problem. When I purchased my Ipad, I was told that it was usable internationally. Is that the problem? Any suggestions or advice? All will be appreciated. Thanks!

Often that's caused by damage to one of the other software components.
I'd try the following document first:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Well, something's definitely wrong if it won't charge from a wall outlet. Make an appointment at a Genius Bar or take it to an Apple certified repair provider.

There are alternatives. But none of them have Google street view, able to work on iOS 6. Apple should have offered this as a beta version, for a few more months instead of inflicting us with an inferior product. This iPad will probably be my last Apple product. A shame, because until last a few days ago, I thought the iPad and iPhone were fantastic.
Apple should quit their petty squabbling with, Google and Samsung and concentrate on supplying the best product.
Google and Samsung must be enjoying this particular fiasco.

I dont know. Pj prob knows more than I. Only thing I had fixed was a classic Ipod(@apple) like 8-10 years ago. I wasnt even sure if i got a new ipod or not at the time. It did come back blank so maybe it was new. This whole thing was new to me at the time(I was about 13).
They should be able to do something. Even the warrenty and apple extended care SAYS it even protects against 2 claims of "misuse", say if you dropped it. They SHOULD be able to replace it or fix it no charge under warrenty. Youd think atleast.

First, try the normal stuff: power cycle your modem, router, and NE allowing time for each component to stabilize before turning on the next in sequence modem > router > NE. If necessary, try resetting your modem and router. If it still doesn’t work verify it is listed in MyVerizon and then calling Verizon Wireless Customer Service at (800) 922-0204. Good luck!

Try this:
Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings

Too much "Signal Faded; Call Was Lost" message for the past two weeks

I am using Verizon Wireless mobile Samsung Alias 2 for a few months. For the past two weeks the amount of choppy call and 'Signal Faded Call Was Lost' issue is ascending alarming proportions.
The *611 VZW customercare does not seem to have a good solution in hand to troubleshoot and/or take a report of the same.

Did you try tech support, Option 3? To call them it is required that you call from another phone.
Is the issue only in one location or all over? If just one small area it could be a tower issue and tech support can walk you through to determine which tower may be the culprit. (If you are able to call in from that area) If they don't, ask them to and get a ticket number.
Also try calling *228 Option 1.
Final option is to have them ship you a refurb as the phone should still be unter warranty. Or you could try at a corporate store also to get a replacement.
