I have had no service for two days in the U.S.

I have had no mail in the U.S. for the last two days. Has anyone heard what thier plan is?

Nobody knows anything at this point.  Some of us have gotten a trickle of old mail coming in, but that's about it.

    Since it's a new machine, contact Apple's Support and let them deal with it. Allen's already recommended an Apple repair station visit. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you might be eligible for an onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine (depends on where you're located).  BTW, the AppleCare Protection Plan's the best warranty policy available for desktop machines. Get it if you don't have it before contacting Apple.

    Hard reset by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake lock button (BUtton on the bottom of your display, button you use to turn the screen black) hold them both down for 15 seconds till you see the apple reappear

    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • I have had my jetpack for two months and now it will not hold it's charge

    I have had it charging for hours , but only 1 bar shows..

    If these steps do not help then contact VZW and have them walk you through your warranty replacement options.  Pending on where the bad connection or hardware is they should be able to send you a replacement battery or Jetpack to get this problem resolved.

  • Connecting DVR to Airport Extreme for remote viewing of my home 16 camera system. I have tried for 2 days and still stuck. I have secured a dyndns account and have had no luck for 2 days. A detailed list for an amateur would be much appreciated.

    I have been trying for 2 days to connect my home camera dvr to the internet through my Airport Extreme. I have read several previous posts on this topic and have not been able to get this completed. I secured a Dyndns account and registered a host domain. I am not clear on which ip address to use and really which is which. Seems like the ip address for the router is different from the ip address that showed up when I secured my dyndns host name. I used the one that was listed on the signup that staed " your ip address is". I have read up on port forwarding and watched UTube and still no luck. Can someone walk me through a steo by step process on how to get this completed? I want to be able to watch my cameras from my iphone, ipad, macbook pro and the internet. I do have a manual that came with the DVR but it seems everything is setup for Windows and a different router, seems like the AE router had different settings. I can usually figure these things out eventually but I am really stuck this time. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

    If you had closed Creative Cloud application .
    Restart the computer once and check.
    If the Creative Cloud desktop app is launched ,
    Before starting installation of InDesign cc app.
    Clear temp folder.
    Please press Windows+R button together and you will get a run command window, please type-in %temp% and hit enter.
    Delete all contents present inside temp folder.
    You may skip the files which cannot be deleted.
    Then start the installation process for Indesign cc 2014.

  • No Service for two days, in US, don't worry about those emails from prospective employers

    I am in the Northeast, and it has been down for almost 2 whole days now.  I am concerned with whether e-mail being sent to me will be delivered when the service returns or if I should be reaching outt o contacts and advising them to redirect messages to a different address.

    It's good to hear that your issue is progressing.
    Frustrating though it is, I have a certain amount of sympathy with BT because they are totally dependent upon Openreach to handle the faults. It would be the same if your phone service was provided by Sky or anyone else. Openreach have to do the technical stuff and, from my experience, their systems do not seem to be geared up for dealng with the general public and this is why they don't care about missing appointments or just turning up on spec. They have a monopoly and can please themselves because their customer is BT and not you or me.
    I find having to go through a call centre frustrating because the people you speak to are not connected at all with the people with the technical knowledge. I have been told many different tales by these people after thay have checked with the engineering department and phoned me back. I even got two completely different versions of what was happening with my phone when I disagreed with what they told me the first time and they referred it back to them again. Someone was making it up - I don't know who. Also you never talk to the same person twice. I think BT could improve this aspect although this is a common problem with large businesses these days.
    I live in hope that this will be sorted out soon.

  • After updating iTunes 10.5 and iPhone 4 iOS 5 my phone doesn't work at all.  It freezes while it is trying to do the Restore phone.  That means I have not have a functional phone for two days now.  Same thing happens with my iPad 2.

    I updated Itunes to v 10.5.  Mistake!!!!  Then updated iOS 5 to my iPhone 4 now my iPhone doesn't work as the applications freezes when trying to restore the phone.  Same thing happens with my iPad 2, so now I have two pieces of equipment that are completely non-functional.  Can any please tell me what to do?  How can I reinstall the previous versions of iTunes, or iOS which were working on my iPhone and on my iPad?  I hate iTunes and this has been the last drop that messed up my equipment.  Please help me.  I do not have another phone to call APPLE.  This ***** big time!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

  • The White Screen of Death: Buttons won't work. (Had Ipod for two days.)

    Around half an hour ago, while playing Tiny Tower, my white Ipod touch 4th gen.'s screen turned white. I guess I wasn't paying much attention when this happened, but I think before this it went a little crazy. No, I did not drop it. I had it in my hand. I tried out the home button and sleep button "solution", but it didn't work. Itunes won't acknowlege that its plugged into my mac, when I tried to restore it. I didn't drop it so I don't know why the home/sleep buttons aren't working like said in countless youtube videos. I had my ipod for two days. (Christmas). Help? :/

  • Book project (80 page) after two days lost the layout! Help

    Working on a project for two days then the layout just gone. The collection is still there. Is there anyway to get it back?
    If not its a bummer! Maybe you can build in a backup function. 10 hours i will never get back!

    I just went in again to replicate the issue and discovered something else.
    I started by creating a new collection as above and used the 1 photo per page preset.
    Auto Layout placed the photos in the new pages
    ** select one image and Right Click to remove photo.>>> all photos disappeared, but blank pages remained.
    (This behaviour doesn't replicate if the cell padding has not been altered. If using the vanilla Blurb preset, this does not occur.)
    Now I manually added photo #1 to page 1 and all the photos came back with the exception of the one I had removed.
    *** 2nd Test
    -Went to Library Module, selected Collections and created a new collection
    -Selected images and moved them to new collection manually (grab and drop into new collection)
    -Went to new collection
    -Selected Book Module
    -Previous book displayed. Selected Clear Book.
    -Now I have a blank cover and a blank page.
    -Selected page 1
    -Modified cell padding (a) link all = 100 then (b) unlink all, bottom = 165
    -grab and drop one image to page 1
    -Copy (Cntrl-Shift-C) and Paste (Cntrl-Shift-V) new blank pages
    -Select Auto Layout and all images from filmstrip move correctly to blank pages.
    -Right Click one image and remove photo>>> all images disappear but blank pages remain
    -Replace image #1 on page #1 and all but the removed photo reappear.
    -Save book inside the collection that produced it.
    -Go to different book inside a different collection
    -Come back to test book and all pages show the same image. Can't fix.
    I think that captures all my steps. I'm really interested in seeing this module work properly, it's a very welcome feature.

  • My icloud mail has not worked for 2 days.  the tech support people say they dont even know there is a problem.

    My mail has not worked for two days - in the US.  The tech support people on the phone claim they don't even know there is a proplem.  Anyone know whats going on?
