Hi, Hold down the Windows key and press R Into the Run box type devmgmt.msc and hit enter. In the Device Manager window, expand DVD/CD-ROM Drives, right click the drive and select Properties - on the General tab, is there an error code showing in the Device status box? If there is an error, post back with the message. If everything looks Ok in Device Manager, try installing VLC on the following link. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.en_GB.html Regards, DP-K

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine.

I seem to be having the same problem on my brand new iPhone 4S. Everything was working fine on the phone until I updated to iOS 5.1.1, but now I no longer receive push notifications for the native Mail app, Instagram, or the Facebook app. I still seem to be receiving SMS texts and iMessages via push, but the aforementioned apps need to be opened before I can receive missed notifications (having them open in the background seems to make no difference).

did you try notifications under settings? You can customize it as per your requirement, for each application.

yes, 10.3.1, iTunes already restarted, menu settings already like that and still it will play all unchecked songs (including the checked songs of course). Why even have check and unchecked if the program is going to play all of them anyway?!

I have downloaded itunes match but i cant play some music on my pc but i can on my iphone

I have downloaded itunes match. I can play all my music on my iphone but when i try to play it from my pc, it tells me it cannot locate the original files. Even though most are things i have purchased from itunes.
They are now mean to be in the cloud but dont seem to be for my pc.

On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed.

Have you try OTHER DVD ? Unsupport mdedia can be something wrong with that DVD itself.

Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.

My imac Cant play DVD movies

My Imac dont want to play DVD movies.. when i put them in, the mac just spit them out again ( all movies) the dvd dosen even show up on the screen.. nothing it just spit them out... i have watched movies before but that was a long time ago.. .. can some one help ?

How did you upgrade to Yosemite? Did you make a clean install and wiped the drive? Or did you install on top of the current system? In what way have you lost the photos?
is the iPhoto Library missing? Or do you get an error message, when you try to open iPhoto? What error message exactly?
Have you already updated the iPhoto application? You need to update to iPhoto 9.6 for MacOS X 10.10. The earlier versions will not work.
