I have i phone 4s ,,, some times i hear the lock screen sound & other time not...
Also when try to play a saved video there is no sound ...
When i hear lock screen i can hear the videos sound ...
Also i can't hear the alert tones just make a vibration ...
I try to check every thing about sound setting but no solution....

Here are a couple articles I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue. Make sure to check the vibrate switch is not engaged as it can cause some application audio, keyboard sounds and ringtones to be mute.

My phone is "disabled" although there is no timer showing on the lock screen.

My phone was disabled this afternoon, It has shown the "iPhone is disabled" screen since i first got the password wrong, although there has been no timer present on the screen. I can still receive calls and texts i just cant unlock my phone. Is there any way I can find out how long it will be until my phone is back working? And if so how do i fix it ?
Please not system restore as I really dont want to lose all my data..

I'm afraid there is no option than restoring the phone. If you have a backup in iTunes or iCloud, then your can restore it.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

Have used hotmail for some time. Somehow the web address for hotmail in my computer has a 1/2 page of additional redundant script added to it. It now defaults to this long web address when trying to access and prevents access to messages.

the script is showing font size and additional size details and is really 3 lines long that repeats itself like 15 times over the length of the address. This is a cable hookup.

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

I just went through this and it appears that my Focusrite Saffire was the culprit. I connected all the outputs on the focusrite according to the way the jacsk on the back were labeled and then set up the multichannel speaker setup to match. Then I went into STP, created a pink noise clip and panned it around, the LFE, center and rears were not in the right place.
I reconnected the hardware to match the 5.1 pan pot in STP then changed the multichannel speaker setup to match. Everything appears to be correct now but I would have loved to have been able to just assigned the output busses to correct outputs in the saffire.
Next step is to pan that pink noise around with my SPL meter to calibrate the room.

Okay, I've sussed it. I saw a link to another discussion that hadn't turned up in any of my searches before I posted the question above.
My Tosh HDD was formatted to FAT 32 and therefore would not be backed up by Time Machine. I removed all data from it - nightmare as I hadn't enough space to put it on the macbook HDD, but, after trawling through numerous photos and deleting rubbish for hours, I finally made enough space and copied all data across. Then, after clearing the data from the Tosh HDD, I used disk utilitity to reformat it to Mackintosh OS Extended. Chose the option without kournalling because I'm not baking up onto this disk and so don't need it - according to some other discussions I found.
When it was done I check on time machine in system prefs and once I selected options, I was able to remove it from the excluded from backups list. Hey presto. Now I'm moving my photo library and my music library onto the Tosh HDD and my macbook should start to breath again. Hurray.

Very rarely is the server unavailable.

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

4S - wi-fi will not retain password in memory, I have to input password each time I unlock the phone.

I have done a "reset" and it didn't help. If I watch the wi-fi screen in "settings" .. I can see that I get the "working icon" every few seconds although it remains connected. Also, I have lost all the other wi-fi location passwords and have to re-input each time I visit the location.

Thank you! seems to have solved the problem ... now I have to add back all the other PW's for other wi-fi networks I use during the course of the day..
When I'm on the page Settings>Wi-Fi ,when I'm already connected every 20-30 seconds I see the "busy" icon show up and quickly go away .. never noticed it before.. but it could be just the way it works .. does yours work the same way??
