I cannot seem to change my email address and password on icloud. I have changed it in itunes. But On all my apple products it will not let me, I just keep getting a window popping up on all of them asking me to go to settings but when I go into setting I cannot get it to change. Help !!!

Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with your new credentials. If all you did was modify your existing ID rather than creating and entirely new ID, you can choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted. Your data will still be in iCloud and will download to your phone when you sign back in.

If you have a rescue email address setup, then you should be able to send an email to reset the password or the security questions. If that is not available, then you would need to contact iTunes Store support. Check out the article below for more information.

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

I indicated my email address and Apple password--not hers and paid for these Aps--receipts arrived via my email. You should be able to copy the apps (and any other iTunes purchases) over to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. And as long as apps remain available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to purchase them, you should be able to re-download them in the future : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
If you are already on iOS 5+ on your iPad then you should be able to update the iPad directly on the iPad via Settings > General > Software Update .

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

you cannot update apps that were purchased through your old email account without logging on to them because they were purchased through that one. It will only recognize the old one..... This explains how to change your ID: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5621. After changing your ID you will need to go to Settings>iCloud, delete the existing account (which only deletes it from your device, not from iCloud), then sign back in with the new ID. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll before deleting the existing account.
If you are signed into your account on your Mac, you will need to go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID.

This is the answer that I had expected, so in this case you could only change your gmail.com address to another providers email addres e.g. outlook.com, yahoo.com, etc., but you won't be able to change the gmail.com address to a icloud.com email address. Apple just won't let you do that.
Your iCloud account with @icloud.com email address and you Apple ID with gmail.com address are already connected and as I said before, Apple just let you merge this two IDs together.

Here is a procedure that should help.
1. Go to "Settings"
2. Go to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
3. Click the account you don't want anymore
4. Go to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
5. Confirm the deletion
6. Go back to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" (if you're not there already)
7. Add your new account
