I have installed firefox 4 times. Each time, when it gets to run it asks me if I am current user or Administrator. I click current user, then no wizard appears. If I check Administrator, there is no password that works.

I am still having this problem, but only on my lenovo w520. Is it something on the computer I have to uncheck? Or whatever? Help!

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

For the past few weeks when I place a bid on ebay, Firefox crashes. The bid goes through but I have to restart Firefox each time. I have sent a report each time and asked to be notified and as of yet I have not got a solution to this problem.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

I am having trouble with the updates to firefox. Each time I start it I get a page that says proxy server refusing connections and have to reinstall the old version just to use the internet. That also removes the personas from my browser.

I currently have version 3.0.10 and have gotten two prompts to upgrade my version of firefox and each time I do install the new version and then try to start up Firefox, I get a page instead that says proxy server is refusing connections and the only way to browse is to re-install the old version. I also have to re-install the old version at least 3 times before I can use Personas.

In Firefox 3.6.4 and later the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings".

You can find the connection settings in "Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection" 
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select No Proxy

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

Flash Player is no longer supported on OS X 10.5.8. If you try to install one of the latest versions, it'll just terminate. You need Flash Player 10.3.183.90 (released 7/9/2013), which is the last version supported on OS X 10.5.8. The installer file is in this zip package, http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.3.183.90_archive _mac_only.zip.
If you have an Intel machine, you may want to consider upgrading to 10.9 (free upgrade) so that you can install the latest, most secure, version of Flash Player.

It stops halfway, and tells me to close Internet Explorer because it can't install with it running. I did that yesterday, and it installed when I started IE again, so I thought the problem was solved. Then, today, I logged on and tried to use Flash Player. It was not installed. I re-installed it, and came to the same block. It will not install while Internet Explorer is running.

It looks like you installed the Library Upgrader, but did not run it. It is installed in "Applications > Utilities". Launch this tool and click the "Choose Library" button to direct it to your iPhoto library.

At various stages over the years, mouse-related iTunes trouble has been associated with driver conflicts. So it might be worth following up on that possibility.
Head to the drivers and downloads page for your model of PC, and check to make sure you're not behind on any chipset and input-device-related driver updates. (And while there, just in case, also check to make sure your BIOS, sound-card/integrated audio, and video-card/display-adaptors are up to date.)
If you're behind on anything, and you update, does that help with the mouse-related iTunes issues?

I find it extremely frustrating that Apple does not care for such an obvious bug affecting one of the basic funcionalities of AirPlay. Unless, of course, if there's something I don't know - but I've done some research and it seems that plenty of people have same issue and no solution is settled.

I have used Firefox for years on my Mac laptop for years, I tried to update to version 4 and now I have no Firefox and every time I download the the Firefox the emblem has a awhite circle with a cross through it, so I can't drag it to applications.

The support page is ridiculous, it assumes you already have Firefox and that the install went fine. I am having trouble with an update to Version 4. I have an ibook G4 running OS X. I have used Firefox for years. When I downloaded the update, the Firefox logo thing that you are supposed to drag to the Applications folder has a white circle with a line through it. The home icon by default has moved to the right hand side of the navigation toolbar.
In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload (Refresh) buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons stop/go/reload buttons, or want to move the home button, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again.
