I have installed the update for Itunes, when restarting it Itunes said a file was missing, I uninstalled it and downloaded it again and the same thing happened... Any clue what to do????
I have no clue why I keep getting this message, I downloaded and installed it three different times and still getting a message that a file or something is missing. My husband had no problem with his up date for Itunes. Any thoughts as to what to do???
What's the precise text of the message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

itunes store won't open. It tries and then stops. no error messages. I've reinstalled and same thing happens. any ideas?

If this SAME problems is effecting us all then suspect its not IPS problem as we all get problem at 995.6MB.
I would think that there is some kind of software conflict. If we all having this problem just think of how many users have the same but are not on this discussion board, bet you its 100s and 100s.
Not possible for me to visit store now but will monitor your responce's.

I have been trying to get Firefox to open up and everytime I double click on the icon nothing happens. I have gone to the task manager and deleted it from the process list and tried again and still will not open. I have even tried deleting the program and downloading it again and it still will not open.
What was the full wording of the error message? Usually there is also a number or additional information.
Try placing the iPod in Recovery Mode and then restore
Next try DFU mode and restore.

I have done what I was told to do delete iPhoto (put it in trash) and then empty trash and the download iPhoto again and it still will not open. Help!!
It says, " iPhoto can't be opened because of a problem." Then it says to "check with the developer to make sure iPhoto works with this version of OS X. You may need to install the application. Be sure to any available updates for the application and OS X.

I have installed all updates for Windows 7, but I still cannot open a pdf. Something is missing.
I'm at a loss as to why this doesn't work. I can't download a page, much less print it. A window keeps popping up saying "missing the file to open". Doesn't say what file or where to get it. Was not having this problem before I updated Adobe. I can't print my Christmas mailing labels nor my medication list, etc. HELP this old lady please!
Try saving the file to your local computer (to the desktop, for example), and then open Adobe Reader itself and open the file in it directly (via File - Open). See if that works for you...

I have a Lexmark 3500 - 4500 series printer connected to my iMac via USB (as my iMac won't do the printing wirelessly. My iMac runs with Mac OS X, Snow Leopard, Version 10.6.8.
A few days ago, there were several software updates that I have installed as there was mention that they were for Mac OS X Lion.
Today, I tried to print a document, and it failed. The error message was: "Missing component: /Library/Printers/Lexmark/Drivers/.Resources/3500-4500 Series Color 2.lut".
I have re-installed the software from Lexmark without success.
Has anyone had a similar issue who can advise me, please?

You are running 10.6 which the above link is for, maybe Lion (10.7) doesn't need everything that 10.6 does. Try re-installing using the above link. -
I normally use Firefox as my web browser. when I tried to use it, a message appeared that said it had crashed and would restart. I have tried numerous times to restart Firefox and it will not restart. I have even removed the program and downloaded Firefox and it still will not start. Do I have a virus or bug in my computer preventing Firefox from starting?
I can access Firefox using the safe mode, which sucks, but I can not get into my profile. I can not access u6krt2kl my string is mlm303va.default

I need to wipeout my Ipod Itouch, something happened when it was syncing and now my Itouch is all jammed up. When plugged into Itunes it will not restore to factory setting, can I just do this on the Settings section, General, reset button on myItouch, "erase all content and settings" Help

I thought that if you bought a product under a certain name, and you needed to buy the same product again, you should be able to get back the same product without having to pay more. I thought that that was the concept of 'Restore Purchases'. So why is the iTunes store charging me now?

I was trying to download some apps on my MBP. I tried downloading three different apps . All of them completed downloading successfully but when I tried to open them they failed and I recieved a popup saying that ' The '**** app ' is damaged and can't be opened. Delete the '**** app' and try downloading again from the Mac App store.' . I believe this has nothing to do with gatekeeper ( I've set it to 'anywhere' anyway).
Install the v10.8.3 combo > OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.3 (Combo)
Then restart your Mac and try opening the apps. -

And I'd close all of the running Apps (double tap on the home button, press and hold app then tap red - sign in corner of listed apps). This probably seems very elementary, but like I indicated the issue you are describing seems so much like a memory issue.....if this isn't it, the issue you describe has me scratching my head
BTW, you don't have any issues with the touch screen, correct? It seems to be functioning normally except for the issue you describe? -
