Reference is frequently made to the orange Firefox Tab at the very top of the vers. 4 downloaded screen. I do not have this tab anywhere on my screen, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Why and how do I get it?

The new interface is only default on Windows Vista and Windows 7. To get it on Windows XP you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.
If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.

Lion uses Recovery to reinstall OS X. Press Command and R keys when your Mac starts, open Disk Utility, erase the drive and reinstall Lion. The other Mac has probably got its hard disk damaged, so take the Mac to an Apple Store

You may have to try a general OS X troubleshooting process to see if the issue goes away by doing this...
Have you tried: starting the computer in SafeBoot mode, with shift key held down; a login screen should appear after a time, and then the regular desktop. At this point, locate Disk Utility in utilities folder, and run 'repair disk permissions' on the startup volume, usually the name given the hard disk drive as it appears on desktop. After Disk Utility is finished the permissions repair, restart the computer normally.
...The iTunes player has free support only through the duration of the hardware product's complementary or AppleCare extended plan coverages, so though you can download a newer version, that is not the same as free support for an issue. However, the iTunes Store or App Store has a different factor for their product.

There is an iTunes area in Apple Support Community discussions for more topics like this; except for when they involve a hardware product where an OS X is involved. If your computer is NOT a powerPC (an 'intel'-mac) the topic would more naturally need to be posted where that hardware and later supported OS X version topics get seen. So that is why one asks 'on what Mac running what version...' instead of writing four paragraphs in a wide angle reply. The details about your iMac and the OS X say more; without them, more questions arise.

Until last July, the model identifier on every Intel Mac would tell you exact minimum and maximum expansion in terms of RAM, retail operating system, and any system specific required firmware updates, video and audio expansion capabilities, and patches for Wifi available. The serial number is only of consequence if you wish to date a Mac down to the week. This can help in determining system specific disks, available warranty, and exchange/repair program eligibility. Outside of that the year and month can usually be narrowed down to a six month period with model identifier alone on all except MacPros. So my question is, is it really that relevant for your needs?

And if this is the new IOS Pages v2 (or the older IOS Pages 1.7.2), you click the wrench icon and then Document Setup. Tap the document header to edit it, and apply the same instructions that I gave previously for OS X Pages v5.
The process for Pages ’09 v4.3 is slightly different. You click the Header, and enter your document title and your name as previously described. You will need Menu > View > Show Ruler. Click once in the ruler at the first or second mark after the 7 inch (roughly 18cm). This will set a tab. Now position the insertion mark behind your title and tab once to the mark you set. If the Wi-Fi diagnostics are okay then check your own Wi-Fi router to find out how many clients are connected. The number of clients may not matter but how much data Hogging is going on. If you have multiple computer Services accounts active Wi-Fi cannot handle that much. Examples would be two people playing World of Warcraft, Two people watching a Netflix movie or AppleTV movie, One person Downloading iTunes movies or music at the same time. That accounts for a lot of Wi-Fi usage.

i downloaded the wal mart app for my i phone a while back. i just recently tried to use it. when it asked me to log in, i realized i did not have a user id or password.i tried to set up one and it gave me an error message stating the e-mail i was using was already linked to an account. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.it did not give me the icon to install the app, but the cloud icon popped up.i selected it and my girlfriends name comes up on my phone with my e-meil attached. i was able to set it up with a different e-mail, but i do not like using that e-mail because im so used to using my hotmail account for everything. what do i have to do to unshare all info between our phones and i-cloud? I WOULD LIKE TO AT LEATS HAVE ONE THING PRIVATE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE TO SHARE!!!

It sounds like that your email is associated to another Apple ID. You may want to check her Apple ID at applid.apple.com, and see if your email is linked to it.
