I have been charged for sending international SMS by my service provider when activating iMessage would this be correct?

To activate iMessage, the phone will send an SMS to Apple, containing your phone details. Your carrier may charge you for that if you don't have an unlimited SMS account or only a certain number of free texts. This will only happen once. After iMessage is set up, you will only be charge by your carrier if the iMessage can't be sent as iMessage, for example if the recipient does not have an iPhone,or if iMessage is not available.

You need to plug the iPad into your computer that has iTunes installed on it, and activate it.

I have been on the phone plus had a call back from customer services as I phoned them up regarding my account showing charges for phone calls.
I struggled as they said no to start with that no charges were made but then said oh yes but they would leave a note on the system saying no charges to be included.
Seemed ok but again I check my account and see they are still charging me.
Is this an error with the BT online account system or am I going to get a nice big bill when its due?
I dont understand as the account shows my package yet the system shows charges for calls.
Has anyone come across this before and is there anyway BT can correct my on line account system?

I have 2 iPhones - one for personal use and one for work. They are currently connected with the same Apple ID. I would like to separate the two accounts. Does anybody know how to do this?
Just create a new AppleID for your work.
As Allan suggested, items purchased on one iTunes account cannot be moved to the other account.
However, you can put items purchased on on account onto the other iPhone. -

Hi, we trialed from central and have bought the plus version but have still been charged for another month of the trial. Would you be good enough to refund the charge please considering we have bought the main product?
After much back and forth drama, and the assistance of one awesome person at Apple, and also a great iTunes representitive, they have agreed to refund me.
I have not yet recieved the refund but will post here when I do.

It is costing me 31 cents everytime I switch Imessage on. Charge comes from an international text message used to activate Imessage, is this normal?
If you are using a supported iPhone carrier, they usually do not charge for this. It is an international text to the UK server to activate iMessage and FaceTime. You need to take this up with your carrier. If you are not using a supported carrier, you will just have to deal with it if you want to use iMessage and FaceTime.

iTunes keeps popping up a dialog box that says "An update to the carrier settings for your iPhone is available. Would you like to download it?" What is this? When I click on the "Learn More" button in the dialog box it takes me to a generic iTunes support page that has no relevance to carrier settings.
I got this three times within the last 4 hours and have been getting it almost every day since I use my new iPhone 6 - over a week now. This happens almost every time I connect the phone to my MacBook Pro, although every time I confirm and it indicates successful update.
It is highly unlikely that my carrier updates settings on daily basis or three times a day. It is almost surely a bug in the Apple system and anything but a timely and effective solution is unacceptable.
For debugging information, I recovered a backup from my former iPhone 5 onto the new one, using the same carrier and SIM.
