I have internet 50% of the time.

Okay I have 1.5MB DSL plan in my area of 22033, and starting 2 weeks ago, I've been only been able to connect to the internet 50% of the time, it'll be really fast then complete drop, then pick up again. I have used 3 different modems, the Verizon one, an older one, and now one I just bought and I know it's not my computer or my modems it''s my connections, what gives? I can't even upload any youtube videos without waiting for 30 minutes, I used to could upload about a 500MB video to Youtube in about 6 minutes, now since it turns off and on it takes about 30 to 40 minutes, I am so sick and tired of this. The only two providers that we can get around here is Comcast and Verizon and Comcast was way more expensive, maby it's more expensive because it's more reliable. Ha Verizon the worlds most reliable service is a lie. I've searched google and I've seen countless other people with this same problem.

Numbers in your post confirm you have an unacceptable problem.  Demonstrated is why shotgunning (swapping parts only on speculation) provides little that is useful and wastes money.  Required are answers to dsir595148's questions (ie model numbers)since a solution means first knowing what you have before even starting diagnostics.
Next, information needed is the same procedure in lorddonk's "Verizon DSL Connection Problems ".  Modem's status page (especially dB numbers),  and results from the PING and TRACERT programs are the information you have not yet provided - and why this post still cannot yet provide a useful reply.

Can anyone tell me how I keep everything I had in my old photoshop, now I've updated to Photoshop CC 2014.  It did give me the option to transport over all my presets, but because I didn't have internet access at the time, it couldn't do it.  Now I'm not getting the option.  Please help.

Migrating Presets does not require a network connection and you can still migrate your cc presets if you still have CC installed.  Use Photoshop menu Edit>Presets>Migrate Presets...  Migrating presets only migrates presets.  It does not migrate Plugins, settings, extensions and scripts.  CC 2014 is also not completely backwards compatible with CC.  Support for Flash Panels and Oil Painter filter have been removed.  So extensions like mini bridge no longer work in CC 2014

  • FAQ: What if I do not have Internet access at the time I install the Photoshop CS6 beta?

If you are temporarily offline during the installation process, you have a seven-day grace period after first launch of the beta during which you can connect to the Internet and perform the activation. You cannot activate the Photoshop CS6 beta on a computer that is permanently offline.

  • I backed up my phone on a friends computer because I did not have a computer at the time. I now have a new phone and live in a different state. He emailed me my back up and after downloading it i opened it in iZip. How do I get it on my phone?

I had an iPhone 5 and a friend of mine broke the screen to the point where I couldnt simply replace it. I had to get a new phone. Before doing this, I backed my phone up on my friend's computer because that is where I had been getting all of my music because I didn't have a computer at the time. I now live in another state and I finally replaced my iPhone. my friend emailed me my backup, and I downloaded it. I didn't have an app that could display the download so I downloaded iZip because that was one of the ones the app store recommended. I now can see the file that my friend sent me, but what do I do from here to get it on my phone? I tried simply dragging the file into iTunes, but that didn't work. I am not very savvy with this stuff, please help. I have no music, photos, anything.

Depending on what kind of computer you have, you're gonna need to put that backup in the appropriate folder or itunes is not gonna be able to see it for you to use.

Due to the kind of plug used the US power cord is rated at the 125v value.. and legally we cannot advise you to use on higher voltages.. although I have never had issues in Australia.. 240v.
But adapters from your Euro power plug to US are generally ugly .. unsightly things.. and often sit high above the socket and are none too stable.. I agree with Bob.. just go out and buy a standard figure 8 power cord.. check with Apple in Italy for a white one.. if you are going to have it on show.. black are far more common. Or even check ebay for a standard power Apple power cord as a number of items they sell use the figure8 socket.

Check Finderr->Preferences->General and ensure that HDs are selected for display. If so and they still don't, Reset the NVRAM/PRAM and Reset the SMC, and see if that does the trick.

do i have to hardwire connect the Time Capsule to my router?
My plan was to just add it to my wireless network and keep it for security away from my mac and in a completely different part of the house.

You can but it is a NOT recommended method.. it will be slow and unreliable.

Welcome to the HP Forums Hinalover,
I see by your post that you are having issues with the print spooler on the Windows 7 computers.
I can help you with this issue.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
Try running the Microsoft Fix It Tool to see if it will fix the print spooler.
Diagnose and repair Windows File and Folder Problems automatically.
You can also run the System File Checker to repair corrupted or missing files.
System File Checker: Run sfc /scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 7 | 8.
You might end up having to do a repair of Windows.
Please let me know the results.
    Have a nice day!
    Thank You.

Can I use my iPhone to have internet access on the iPad?

Yes, but you have to have your phone set up for tethering. Depending on your carrier that might require a special plan.

  • I lost the lan ethernet connection of an older windows 7 pc to my 3 Terabyte router when adding a new local printer to the pc. How do i set this up again so the PC is recognized and can get to the internet again through the time capsule?

I recently added a new printer to a 2005 vintage PC that is running windows 7. It used to go through a router in my wifes upstairs office to the time capsule by wired ethernet (cat5) but when I added her new local printer thought I would network it, big mistaked, lost all my ethernet connection and she cannot get to the internet. Wireless not an option. How do i set up again the ethernet connection and i will only USB the printer locally this time for the windows pc?
Tried windows diagnostics, and besides telling me to reset everything and turn router off and on etc. I am in an endless loop.
Other Mac products are not impacted by this issue.

I see no direct connection.. a printer and the computer setup for internet are not related.
But it sounds like the router in the wife's office is now in the wrong mode..
If you have an existing main router replace the second router for a switch .. that is the easy way.
Otherwise you need to bridge the router if it has that option.. most do not. Or use wan bypass.. where you turn off the dhcp server in the router and fix its ip to match the range of the main router.. this is the hassle of using router as a switch.
BUT I am making a huge number of assumptions.
What I need is the full network layout.. a quick picture would help.
I need main modem.. main router.. (maybe same box or different).. make model and current IP address and how dhcp is setup.
I need secondary router.. if that is what it is, IP and settings.
I want the printer type and model. How it is connected.
BTW I much prefer to see a network printer plugged into the network rather than usb.. it is only a matter of sorting the IP settings and driver pointing to the network rather than local.
Or you should think of it as a broken washing machine and call the technician.. who could fix the whole lot in an hour.

  • Loosing battery from internet traffic all the time

4 days ago i have bought an iphone 5
previous one was an iphone 4
my problem is the iphone 5 all the time spending my internet traffic, but i turned off all the push notification and etc apps whiches use the inernet....
because of that my iphone loses battery for 2-3 hours
    HELP ME PLEASE !

    I have another computer connected
to this network in another part of the house
If that is a Windows XP computer make sure it is not trying to do an 802.1x authentication since that will cause those interruptions:
    http://www.efelix.co.uk/tech/1010.html
Ensure that the Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network check box is not checked.
Also, upgrading to Service Pack 2 should take care of that problem.
Otherwise, Airports are a reliable product so perhaps you are in an area of interference? Pick a different channel - like 9?
