I have downloaded flash player 12, and am able to use it on website, "American Greetings," but am unable to use it to send or receive cards on website, "JacquieLawson.com." Why not? I am very frustrated and wonder if I need to get a computer person to help me - darn. I am older, and they are so expensive. Please, someone, help me! Karen K

I am having endless problems with Safari - "cannot find www.google.com" or click on a link in a website "cannot connect to xx - you are not connected to the internet" - which I am!! The latter even within Apple Communities!
To check I went back to my old PC with Internet Explorer and had and have had no such problems!
I have asked for advice in several forums but so far no expert can help cure my Safari/Apple problem.

Mozilla will not allow me to update flash player and java and keeps saying 'oops crashed' i need to uninstall it but nothing works

Please help me uninstall mozilla. I downloaded it ages ago but didn't use it. I have Vista 32 bit computer. Every time I try to update java or flash a box pops up from mozilla to say it's crashed and wont let me update.

I would have preferred to help you get Mozilla Firefox working, although I will admit that Firefox is currently having some problems with FlashPlayer on Windows. Note by the way that FlashPlayer for Internet Explore is a completely different installation.

There is no such problem when I use Internet Explorer, but my
preferred browser is Firefox. Is there any reason why Firefox can't
access the server? Or is there another site I can download Flash
from?
I downloaded the latest Firefox version a couple of days ago,
v1.5.0.2
I use Windows ME.

Old school with CS2. Haven't used in a while and am unable to use the program as it says my serial number is invalid. Customer service tells me the server for CS2 has been shut down. Then they sent me here for help. Does anyone have any advice?

CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

Internet Explorer will not allow me to download Mozilla Firefox on my computer. Its say the operation has timed out and I can't figure out why...

I have tried saving it to a jump drive and it still will not work. It also does not let me save the file anyhwere else on my hard drive. What is the problem?

Sadly there are some 'bad carriers' out there. If you have a VERY long download(and iPad OS updates can be 100s of megabytes) and the carrier has an interruption in service(router reboots, modem disconnects, etc) iTunes will timeout.
You might want to try updating later in the evening when usage starts to drop off(kids go to bed, people start watching cable instead of Netflix/Hulu) or early in the morning.
The other alternative is to update at a friend's place who might have a better carrier or is on a better subnet

Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

In Firefox 3.6.4 and later the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings".

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select No Proxy
Another possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that,.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.
