I have ipad air3. updated to os8.3. now i have no flexibility to change the orientation of my screen. it's stuck in letter mode.
please help me to correct the orientation of my ipad as it no longer converts automatically from vertical to horizontal. I 'm printing on my keyboard while seeing the screen sidwise. Thank you

It is possible that your Screen Rotation Lock has been enabled. Swipe up form the bottom of your screen to reveal Control Center and tap the Screen Rotation Lock icon. This will disable the feature. If that does not work then I would suggest rebooting the iPad (press and hold the top power button until "Slide to Power Off" appears and then slide to power off). Once the device is off then press the power button to turn it back on.

Connect to itunes on your computer and see if it prompts you to restore or activate. Try resetting the device by holding the sleep/wake and power button for 10-15 seconds then release. If that pesky screen still shows you may need to force recover the device. Power the device completely off, press and hold the home button and plug into itunes and do not release the home button until it says itunes has detected a device in recover mode.

Since updating my iPhone 3GS on my friends laptop, it keeps asking for her iTunes Id not mine. When I log onto a computer it comes up with my Id but from my phone it's my friends. Yes, a message pops up on the computer that says..."The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred. (3014)" I tried to research this and tried all of the things Apple suggested but still am not having any luck with it. Thanks for any assistance you may provide!

At first read, I also thought it sounded a bit snide. Who here has read the entire manual before going to the web for a quick search? (Not me, and in fact, I found my answer - to this very question, by reading this post WAY faster than if I had read the manual. What is so wrong with that?)
That is the beauty of having support forums. If it is a bother to answer, without being snide, one is not obligated to do so. And my apologies if he was not being snide... but there maybe a better way to point out the manual, such as "I have included a link to the searchable manual which may be of assistance to you next time you are puzzled by your iPhone's behaviour".

My iPad 3 will not change the orientation to landscape mode. I have checked the orientation switch and turned off for a reset. Neither fixes the problem. What can I do?

My ipod is disabled and the message requests to try again in 223004 minutes. I think it might have something to do with the date being set wrong before it went into disabled mode. Can you assist in enabling.
You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

It may be a GPU or display issue. In both cases, make a backup of your Mac and take it to an Apple Store or reseller to get it repaired.
To check whether it is a GPU or display issue, try taking a screenshot by pressing Command, Shift and 3 keys. The screenshot will appear in the Desktop, so open it and check if the line appears in the screenshot too. If so, it is a GPU issue; if not, it is a display issue. -
Is there another way to close apps other than deleting them from the multitask bar.....I have a small crack in the bottom of my screen and that part of the screen does not recognize the touch.
There's generally no reason to be closing them that way at all. The apps you see in the recents bar are just that, apps that you used recently. Most of them are doing absolutely nothing. The only apps that are really doing anything in the background are ones that play music and ones that are using location services. Just leave them be.

I applied a VM Windows XP pro. When I logged in as a local admin, I can view the calendar from the right corner of desktop or from control
