I want to upgrade my 2007 Mac desktop to 10.5 Leopard. I am currently running on 10.4.11. When I put the leopard disk into the drive all it does is make a weird noise and then spits the disk right back out. It doesn't do this with any other discs, only this software. Is it still possible to update this computer?

Before you do upgrade to Snow Leopard, make sure your Mac meets the requirements.

Make sure the disc you tried using doesn't have any fingerprints or smudges on it. The optical drive can't read the disk otherwise.
If your Mac won't read the disc, might be a good idea to rule out any problems with the startup disk BEFORE trying to upgrade the system.

I got this problem a few days ago. I downloaded a book from the Internet which is 38 mb, then when I checked pmy usage, iBooks surprisingly took about 600mb. I searched so kich articles about it and still haven't got my answer. I r stored my iPad, deleted all books, restatred my iPad, connect my IPad to iTunes, and atill nothing. This support document http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4451 relates to the 3194 error. Generally this error has to do with trying to install an iOS that is not the most current. Maybe you tried to jailbreak the phone, or downgrade iOS? Any of this apply to you?

It's a shame that no solutions works & that Apple didn't react to help all the customers to fix this bug!
I hope that someone @ Apple will read this ....This may sound like a terrible solution, but have you tried switching the file format to .m4a (itunes default format) on all of your music?

When someting works one day, but not the next, then something has changed. Finding out what the change is, can be tough.
Most people have their OS set to update automatically, and they are unaware that an OS update, or hot-fix has been applied. That can change things drastically, and especially with regards to things like audio and video drivers.
Having an Intel, embedded graphics chip, will limit you on the drivers, as they make good chips, but seem to ignore writing drivers to support those.
Since things did work, just a day, or so, ago, I would first do a System Restore Point for now. Do this manually. Then, I would reboot to Safe Mode, and choose an earlier System Restore Point. You will be required to reboot. Test things with that earlier system configuration. Please report if things work, as they recently did. Now, if they do, you have at least tracked down a time frame, when something changed. Finding out what it was, is still a task.
