I bought my iphone couple of weeks back . Been trying to listen to music through the speaker but it cant. The only sound i can hear through the speaker is the ring tone and the alarm . I can't even hear any of the tones for messages and stuff either . Anyone else with the same problem ?

My iPhone is stuck in a mode where it thinks the headset is still plugged in.
I cant get any sounds through the speaker. Cant hear sms or emails arrive. If the phone rings i hear it but pple cant hear me or i cant hear them.
The phone works fine with the headphones plugged in.
I have tried all the usual solutions, inserted and removed the headset (at least 50 times)

Nothing seems to work. I have searched on this and it seems to be a well know issue but there doesnt seem to be any firm solutions that i can find to fix the problem

If no change after inserting and removing the headset at least 50 times, powering the iPhone off and on, an iPhone reset, and restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
Make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

I can't hear any sound from any flash website, or music players on myspace, and youtube.com etc... I think its a flash problem. It worked a few days ago. Is it a problem with my browser? With Flash? A virus?
I tried the web browser's preferences and system preferences. I got the latest version of flash player. Is there anything else?

HT203167 I've downloaded the Now Christmas album, all but 1 song has been downloaded and put in my library. The list says it's there but when I go to play it, iTunes skips past it and goes to the next song. I have downloaded lastest version of iTunes.

Will the media file play with Quicktime Player? If it will then it's an iTunes issue. If it won't then you need to delete the file and download it a second time.

So after exhausting countless hours I just added the App "Google Search". It's not as great of an interface but I can access Google Voice and keep tabs by just checking in every so often. Better than not having Google Voice at all.

just go into settings go to sound and check that volume is up . and then go back home and make sure the side button volume is up if it doesnt work reply.

Kayla, check the grill that covers the microphone (bottom left next to charging port) and make certain there isn't any dirt, makeup, spilled soda clogging the grill causing it to fail. My sister had a similar issue with her earphone and while I was in the process of replacing it for the third time I decided to check the grill under a very bright light and it was totally clogged up causing her not to be able to hear her phone calls. Use a Q-Tip dipped in hot water and gently wipe the grill. Just barely moisten it, no need to go crazy with the water. Might as well clean the earphone and speaker on the bottom right too. Anyhow, that could be what your issue is and if so it's a really simple fix. If that doesn't help just replace the microphone. It'd cost maybe $5 and ten minutes of your time to do. Good luck, John

In answer to your question, you need to be aware that the PHP server behaviors in Dreamweaver CS6 use the original MySQL functions that are scheduled to be removed from a future version of PHP. The server behaviors have already been removed from Dreamweaver CC. If you are planning to create a site using PHP and MySQL, do not rely on Dreamweaver's server behaviors. You must use either MySQLi (MySQL Improved) or PDO (PHP Data Objects) instead.
If you're looking for video tutorials, you might be interested in the courses I have created for lynda.com. As a beginner, a good place to start would be PHP for Web Designers or Introducing PHP (there are several sample videos that you can watch for free on my website). I cannot illuminate the keyboard, and cannot hear any sound - Any ideas please?

......I hear nothing, (except the start-up jingle when turning on the MacBook), I also have no backlit keyboard. The volume shows at maximum, but having said that, there is a little symbol showing a small white circle with a line struck though it just under the volume display when one of the F buttons are pressed. This symbol is showing when I try to turn up, turn down, or mute, (or un-mute), this whilst using the F9, F10, & F11. This symbol also is evident when trying to illuminate the keyboard up, or down, (F5 & F6). I have gone into 'System Preferences', but am unable to move any sliders, which incidentally are showing maximum volume, not muted either - it almost as if something has locked up the settings, (which are NOT currently locked though via the padlock system). The speaker symbol at the top of the screen is of a light grey in colour, (usually black if I remember correctly), and certainly is not showing the Mac being muted. I'm not 100% familiar with a 'Mac' having moved from a Windows machine not too long ago, so any info wold be very much appreciated. Incidentally, whether this has any bearing whatsoever, when I turned my Mac on yesterday, (16-5-11), the time had reset itself to 00:00, and date back to 1-1-2001 - again, should anyone know why this took place, then it would be nice to know as I've never had this occur before on either a Windows or Mac machine. Sound & lights were working fine yesterday even after I'd put the time & date correct. The operating system is 10.6.4 on my MacBook Pro.

Nothing there! The digital copy disc does not seem to play smoothly on my Imac, which may be the cause of the problem. What do I need to do to download the digital copy to my computer/Itunes?
