if i go to settings general go to reset and reset all setting will i lose all my pictures??
If it is even a concern, maybe you should be copying all pictures on the device to a computer as it is designed to be done. The iPhone is not intended to be sole storage of any content.

That would be the password for your FTP server. You can only get this from your web hosting company. You should contact your web hosting company and ask them for your FTP Publishing details.
Then select your web site name at the top of the list of web pages in iWeb. You'll see input fieldd for your FTP details. Enter what you get from your web hosting provider in those fields. -

I lost my Iphone 4s and I need the iMei number to trace. THAT fellow actually off my phone at my last location.I dont have sim on that i phone.I am trying to trace the iphone through find my phone but it showing offline. Thus another way of solving will be through IMEI number which i need to hand it over to the police! How can i get the iMei number? Can I use Itune? As previously, I did sync into iTunes before. As Bob says, any iMap service can do this. GMail can, iCLoud mail can too.
Both of these can be used with Mail on any device. -

edit the hosts file on your computer and remove any lines that contain gs.apple.com. Disable your antivirus and firewall.

im trying to restore my iphone and itunes doesnt allow it to restore without updating. problem is that i have the latest update on my iphone so why is it forcing me to wait for a 7hr update download when i already have the update and only need to restore?

i have iphone 4 and it connect to some wireless networks and some others are not visible while other lphones can find these networks and i tried to restart the phone many times and there is no result, kindly advice
Some updates and clarifications:
1. I already have my 2.4 channel fixed.
2. Wireless network name is 8 alphanumeric characters; no spaces
3. Already using WPA2 security with a 10 alphanumeric key (again, no spaces)
4. I am running Airport Utility 6.0, Mac OS version 10.7.4
I should also say that these problems started happening less than a month ago...prior to that all devices where working normally.
An added update: My two e-readers (nook ST and Kindle 3) are also refusing to connect...perhaps confirming that I have 2.4 GHz issues? -

After reading all these posts, one by one did not resolve my problem until I got the very end. Regardless of what step would resolve your problem, these are the steps I would recomment to everyone for a what seems to be a safe and fool-proof upgrade to iTunes 10.5.
1. Stand alone upgrade to the latest Quicktime version
2. Go to control panel and "change" then select repair to the following applications in the order specified by the post on Oct 27. (Notice I skipped Quicktime because it had been upgrade manually,and Bonjour did not have a "repair" option)
iTunes; Apple Software Update: Mobile Device Support; Apple Applications Support
Some of these applications may not appear if they do not apply to your configuration (no iPhone, or no iPad, or other apple devices).
Once all updated, I did not need to restart nor launch any applications, I simply went straight into the 10.5 upgrade, and where it normally got stuck, this time the installation continued for a while longer until it completed successfully.
