i have iphone 4s i update to 7.0.3 after that my wifi don't work . today i update with new iso 7.0.4 my wifi doesn't work again please help me
when i go general my iphone freeze up than after min it work, than i go wifi and connect with router it connect but after 10, 15 min forget the password and freeze again and after 1 min when i go back to wifi the on and off button greyed out i think it a softwage problem. any help

Else the only option you have is to fight with the Apple Store "geniuses" to get a free replacement for out of warranty 4S devices. Or try a third party repair like iFixit. The wifi chip might cost you 60-80$ but it is better than paying Apple 200$.
Overheating is the culprit in 4S devices. And its been getting worse with ever successive iOS 7 update. I think 7.0.4 was the final nail in the coffin.
They are not getting my money anymore.. I've had iPhones every since they launched... but no more. Feels like a dead investment after facing this issue. I can never sell my iPhone 4S even if I want to. There have been cases where users just sold their 4S devices, the new owner updated to 7.0.4, wifi stopped working and the seller had to give a refund.
I'm basically sitting on a 650$ white brick. Hmm... I wonder if white bricks sell higher than the standard red bricks

TBH, I can't get a replacement because I am in India where 4S was never launched as an unlocked device and there are no Apple retail stores. Only resellers here like Vodafone/Reliance/Airtel. There can be some of that. Unfortunately, it's up to the app developers to make their app work with the iOS.
So checking for updates can help. You can also look at the reviews for the app, see if others have the same issue. If 8 has broken the app, all you can do is wait.
In some cases, a reset can help. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again. (this can work if the app is fine with iOS8 but is just glitching...it's a harmless reboot of the system)
Another thing to try is to force quit the app(s) and force them to reboot. Double tap the home button. Flick the preview for the app up and off the screen to close it. Then single tap the home button to exit the mode. Try your app again. If it's just a glitch then this sometimes clears it up.
I know once I updated my devices I then had several updates pushed out - updates that required iOS8 so weren't available before the update. -

Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

1. Try to delete and then re-add the fingerprint. Things to consider is make sure your finger is dry from any liquid or moisture. Also try to clean off the touch id sensor with a soft cloth and rescan your fingerprint.
2. Try to reset your settings and then go to settings-general-touch id and passcode and re-add your finger print. When you add the fingerprint make sure that you don't move it around too much until the first part of scanning your fingerprint is done. Then in the second part of the scan is where you wanna move the finger around.
Hope this help! I have my iPhone 5S and it does help when the fingerprint sensor is working. -
I don't know who the previous owner is or how to contact them because I can't see their email address. I spent $200 and just want my phone to work. Is there any way apple can help?
Your phone is "activation locked". It cannot be used unless this lock is removed by the previous owner of the iPhone. If the seller can't help you then ask for a refund of your money.
Apple won't help you. Note that the iPhone you bought may well be stolen property.. -

If your router is not identified in a national database (don't recall who maintains it or where it is) then there is no location associated with it. Hence your device cannot be located. I suggest you try your test at some public wifi spot, like a bookstore or coffee shop. These places usually have a location associated with their wifi router.

It sounds like you are unable to make or recieve phone calls because the screen goes black. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If that does not resolve the issue, I would use the troubleshooting in the following article, named:

I would imagine your iPhone was hacked to make it work on your local carrier.
Updating the iOs to 5.xx will lock it back to the original carrier .The carrier holding the lock are the only
entity able to authorise the unlock .You will have to contact them and see if they unlock and the terms the apply
