Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have been through ALL of the troubleshooting steps and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for investigation.

i bought my wife an ipad retina for xmas and the machine is faulty, it keeps on switching off. the apple authorised dealer admitted it was faulty and wants to replace my new machine with a factory refurbished unit. You can complain to the store or to Apple about it if you wish. -
Where can I get Window's software for my Macbook Pro? I'm trying to run ARCview. However, it requires Windows. I'm trying Bootcamp. but, it isn't recognising the disk that I currently have.
Maybe because it's not a 'genuine' retail version? Many OEM versions just don't work - and I've no idea which flavor of Win7 your friend downloaded. Obviously one that Boot Camp doesn't recognize. Best to just pony up the cash for a full retail version, of some flavor - and use it. You COULD, of course, download the 14-day trial version of Parallels Desktop and see if you can install Win7 as a virtual machine... it might or might not work. Boot Camp just isn't finding the resources it needs on the copy you have - try Parallels and if that doesn't work just purchase a retail (or student discounted) version.

I have tried numerous times to do something with this I phone. I do not use it much. My husband download the updated ITunes but not only did it lose most of my apps it won't allow me to get into the ones that I do have. I have been having problems with this for awhile now. Can't even take pictures and send them to my husband of the new Granddaughter! This is getting upsetting because I don't use it that much. Yes you have to delete media to make the 2.7 GB available. When updating is done, the newer IOS only takes a max of 100 MB more storage than the old iOS. The iPod needs the extra space to do the installation.
You can update via iTunes. Just note that if you do all synced medial like a and music have to in the iTunes library. -

i just bought a macbook air 2008 from ebay and it does not come with a logicboard/motherboard. i have a dell inspiron 1545 that is in fine working condition. can i use the motherboard from my dell in my new macbook?
Macbook Airs are extremely compact, and because of that, every internal component has been painstakingly designed to fit inside of this Mac. Their is likely no other motherboard/logic in existence except for those designed for the Air that will fit into your computer. Those logic boards alone cost about 75-90% of what a new Air would cost from Apple. I hope you didn't spend too much money on your new aquisition.

There are no parameters in the cfSpreadsheet tag to choose specific columns, however you can use a query of queries (About Query of Queries - ColdFusion English Documentation - Adobe Learning Resources) to get a query object with a subset of columns to pass to the tag.

I am trying to find at least the trial version so that I can enter the serial number that I have on the back of the case and activate the full version so I can get some work I need to get done finished. My laptop was thrown away after a flood in my basement and I believe the cd was still in it. I don't recall ever taking it out.
Forget your existing disc and serial number. They won't work.
Download the new non-activation version of CS2 (applies to CS owners as well) from

I went on a vacation and took many photos with my iPad. On my flight back to the states, I tried making an album for my photos. It seemed like I accidentally deleted my photos. Is there a way to retrieve the deleted photos on the iPad?

I want to make a new site in dreamweaver and host it on business cstalyst
I want to make a NEW site in Dreamweaver CC and host it on the Business Catalyst platform.But it seems the only way to use dreamweaver in business Catalyst is to import a BC template into Dreamweaver then upload it to BC. I want to create an original site and use the BC platform, is that possible? This seems like it should be simple and automatic, even encouraged. But as of now the only way to create an original site is to use Adobe Muse. Which is weird, seems like Adobe missed this one somewhere...
I don't think you understand: I want to open Dreamweaver and build a brand new site, then when I am done I want to host the dreamweaver site on the Business Catalyst platform. I dont want to use anything in BC to build the site, I just want to use the hosting platform. I do not want to import a BC site into dreamweaver or anything like that. I just want to use BC the same way I would use godaddy, or uhost or any other hosting provider. Based on your response you said that "of course its possible to build a BC site in Dreamweaver" I dont want to build a BC site, I want to build a Dreamweaver site and host it on the BC platform. Like I said before it doesnt seem like this is possible. As of now we can only build a new site in MUSE and integrate it into BC without using a BC template. Can you understand what I am saying. In case you're not clear - iPad/iPhone storage, and iCloud storage, are totally separate. Buying more iCloud storage does not give you more storage space on your device. Your device has a fixed storage space for apps and data (e.g., 16GB - which is more like 12GB in real terms). iCloud storage just allows you to store more documents, mail, photos, etc, in the cloud.

How can I choose the volume which I want to restore by Time Machine? I have two volumes.

I have been using SSD and HDD on my MBP.Today, I replaced an old HDD to a new HDD and tried to restore from Time Machine.
Unfortunately, Migration Assistant couldn't choose which volume I want to restore.
On Time Machine, I could choose the location, but it was just a copy, not a restore.
Some files address has been changed, so I have to correct the location for every apps on SSD.
For example, "/Volumes/Macintosh HD/Users/" has changed to "/Volumes/Macintosh HD//Macintosh HD/Users/"
I want to make a new HDD be exactlly same as an old HDD, so I don't need to adjust file locations or rename the address.

SCORM uses a standard JavaScript API that all compliant LMSs are supposed to understand and interpret correctly. (I use the words "supposed to" because the reality tends to be that they all interpret the standard a little differently.)
If this is a "locally developed LMS" then all bets are off. You should in theory be able to transfer quite a bit of information, but with a home-grown roll-your-own system at the other end, you have no way of knowing how it will handle that information.
You need to talk to whoever built or is currently in charge of this LMS, hopefully someone with technical knowledge and expertise. Get them to tell you how much of the SCORM standard is actually supported. Only then will you know if you can use some more advanced Captivate functionality to pass more scoring information (e.g. interaction data as well as score/pass/fail).
If your current LMS is truly only able to accept a couple of values, and your customer wants more than this, handball the issue back to them. They'll either have to upgrade their LMS or revise their requirements. -

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

You use Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) for that job - or upgrade to a later iPhoto.
