I have just bought an i phone 4s and successfully joined i cloud, i have also successfully linked up my pc with i cloud. However my i pad is a little older, and when i signed on to i cloud some time ago i used a different e mail 'sign in' address. How do I change this in order to link all three devices. Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and provide the password (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID ("email sign in") you want to use.

When I purchase ITunes music, and it is a song from a Greatest Hits album, the Year of the song shows the year the CD was released and not the year the song was released (i.e. a song may be from 1986, but the Greatest Hits album was released in 1999, so my songs in ITunes show 1999). So, I go into each of those songs and change it to the year that I want to be displayed. As long as I don't exit out of ITunes, it will show the year that I changed it to (i.e. the 1986 year in this case). But if I exit out of ITunes and then return to ITunes, the year reverts back to 1999. The same happens if I change the genre of a song from, say 'Pop' to 'Alternative', it will revert back the next time I log in.
Oddly enough, as soon as I right-click on that song to change it back, the year/genre that I had entered returns.
How can I make it so my changes are permanently displayed as I want them? This is pretty annoying when I try to find a song on my Ipod under a certain genre, but it doesn't appear in that genre because the incorrect information gets synched to the Ipod.

You may want to keep Reader. You may want to select Acrobat as your default, but be able to click on a PDF (or PDF link) to open in Reader when needed. There are likely some PDFs that will not open correctly in AA 7 because of new features folks add. Just because it opens in Reader XI does not mean it is in the new format, but just that is the default opening you have. To tell the type of file, you have to open the PDF and check the properties (ctrl-D) and check Description>PDF version.

I just bought an Iphone4. When I tried to hook it up to Itunes it said i needed to update to 10.5 or higher. My Mac says 10.6.3 is available for download but it won't complete the task. It says my software is up to date. I DON'T want to start on Icloud. I have friends who have it and hate it. I like working from ITunes. Please help me figure this one out.

The only ways I know of for email to get sent to an account are:
1. It was addressed to that account. Someone used that email address to send you the email.
2. It was forwarded to that account by the account to which it had been addressed. I am not aware of Mail having this feature but it is often a feature provided by your ISP that you can turn on by logging into your account via the Internet and setting it up. I assume you have not done this, though.
With several email addresses in the same Mail client, you have to be careful which one you are sending from. If you send from the wrong address, any replies will come back to that same address. I make this mistake all too often.

The top screenshot is the Windows Open dialog box. All File > Open... commands in all Windows programs bring it up. Try File > Open in Notepad for example.
It belongs to Windows not Adobe. You cannot change this because there is no such thing as an Adobe Open dialog box.
The bottom screenshot is Windows Explorer. It is Windows' OS File Browser, not an Open dialog. It is not called up by Photoshop or any Windows program.
You have to click on "My Computer" or a Folder icon to get to it. You can double-click a psd, jpeg or other image file in the Explorer window so that it opens in Photoshop.
There is Adobe Bridge and Minibridge Alt + Ctrl + O or File > Browse in Bridge

When you send the message to another iPhone, it sends it as a text message because it doesn't know what type of phone it is. When it recieves a message from that phone, the info in the message tells the phone that it is talking to another iPhone. Also, sometimes when there is no internet, the iPhone may send messages as a text. This is because the blue messages are send over the internet as an iMessage. Now if you are texting to another iPhone and its green, try going to SETTINGS > Messages > iMessage > make sure it is turned on. Just my two cents

I understand that you have changed your phone number but your iCloud Keychain verification number is still your old phone number. You can edit this phone number in your iCloud settings on your iPhone. Please use the attached article for information on the process.

Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
In iOS 8, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain. Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
