I have just changed the hard drive on my computer and I transferred everything use time machine (OSX Mavericks). I now have error 150:30. What do I do?

I obviously need to reinitialise CS4 in some way but how. I cannot enter any programs to change any settings. I have the serial number of my organisations license.

Transferring using Time Machine will not work with Adobe applications. Many small but necessary files will not be put in the proper place.
You'll have to first remove everything you copied using the Adobe Cleaner tool:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Then download the CS4 installer with the link Mylenium provided.

If you are talking about your friend's iTunes password, you are not supposed to use or have his password or even his music,etc. in your computer...

Could be many things, we should start with this...

Whether or not you are able to recover the data off the drive yourself will depend on if the drive suffered any impact damage in the crash. You can buy USB SATA or IDE adapters (Intel and almost all G5 use SATA) that will let you connect your hard drive to a computer (like a flash drive) to see if you can recover the data. If the drive has suffered physical damage if may not mount.
If you know someone who has one of these adapters you could try using theirs, otherwise you could buy one but you take the risk of the data on the drive being non recoverable. Regardless, both are much cheaper than $1699!
(Alternatively, if you know of someone with a Mac Pro or PowerMac G5 they may be able to install the drive in their machine and try to boot from or mount it and copy the data off.)

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use this to put everything back.

I had my hard drive fail on my Mac Pro. I used Time machine to restore my hard drive. All my adobe aps say that "Licensing for this product has stopped working."

I authorized the computer (it is the ONLY computer authorized on this account - and this is the ONLY account on this iPad). ITunes then downloaded my purchases...or at least it tried - out of the hundreds of tracks I have purchased, it managed one album that I bought over a year ago and NOTHING else. So I tried to Sync - since on older versions of iTunes (that were SO MUCH MORE user friendly) that would do the job -transferring things that were only on the iPad onto the computer and vice versa. It doesn't do that anymore. So I went from my iPad's summary to the Music tab - the box for Music was not checked but when I checked it said the only thing it could do was erase EVERYTHING from my iPad and replace it with what was on my computer (that ONE album). What is going on?

either something got damaged when you installed the hard drive or you need to perform a pram reset (other possibilites could have occured, these are the ones I think)

The Disk Utility, Carbon Copy Cloner, SuperDuper, or similar software. For best results, place the second drive inside the computer or in a FireWire enclosure and boot the computer from it before removing the internal drive.

If you're able to boot, launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

after a restart it works for a time, but always slow. I went to the Applestore this afternoon and the made a check and said it would be the logicboard and they would have to change it for CHF 600 and it would be ready in 10 - 15 days

Be sure to start your iMac using its original grey System Install DVD: Insert that disc and start your Mac while holding the d key. At the Mac OS X Utilities screen select Disk Utility and format the hard disk. Select "Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)".
Then, install OS X.
