I have just downloaded Lightroom 4 and it is not installing.

It seems to download ok but when i click on to install it is not working - i have restarted my mac and re-downloaded and still having the same problem - help as i need this for job asap

Error 9006 when restoring your iOS device indicates that there is security software on your computer which is preventing connection to the Apple server or your device. To troubleshoot this issue please follow the directions below.

To try and stop it happening again, you should be able to turn off in-app purchases on your device via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and (depending upon what iOS version that you have on the device) you might also be able to set 'Require Password' to 'Immediately' on the Restrictions (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered)

Hi, I have just downloaded lion and my Photoshop CS is not supported.....why why why. This update will cost me $500 ! Totally useless update

I have just downloaded LION as an update and it is OK, not great but OK. However I am furious because it does not support Photoshop CS for Mac! Great so this update is now going to cost me 500 dollars for a new Photoshop. Well done Apple why is this not supported and why should I buy more software. THIS IS BAD BAD BAD!. Don't update to Lion until you check your other software will run! Does anyone know how to revert back to Snow Leopard or get your money back from Apple.

First off, learn how you must be prepared for Lion before installing:

Next consider one of three courses:
1. If most of your software is supported, and you don't presently have a backup of your older system, get an external hard drive larger than your current,
partition it for enough space for Snow Leopard and your present Lion installation on your hard drive allowing for at least 15% of each partition to have free space after cloning Lion and installing Snow Leopard and your Snow Leopard only compatible applications.
2. If very little of your software is supported, and you don't presently have a backup, get an external hard drive, Install Snow Leoaprd on it, and recover your data on it after using the Migration Assistant to import the data from the Lion on the internal that is compatible with Snow Leopard, and the install applications from your CDs. Once you have it working on your external hard drive, clone it back to your internal, and get a refund from the App Store:

3. If you have a backup from before installing Snow Leopard, just erase and install Snow Leopard, and contact the App Store support for a refund.

Refer to following article to remove SC file(s):

Then proceed to repair your Quicktime:
Win7/Vista - Start / Control Panel / Programs n Features.
WinXP - Start / Control Panel / Add n Remove Programs
Highlight QUICKTIME and click CHANGE then REPAIR

Just downloaded edge, but it will not install

It just say's 'installer failed to initialize this could be due to a missing file. Please download adobe support adviser to detect the problem. But the support adviser doesn't detect any problems. Have downloaded edge twice now, same problem.

Hi again, and thanks for being so helpful. I have just solved the problem and thought i should post it here in case others have the same problem. I was using an unzip programme called jzip, i downloaded win rar instead and it worked. Obviously something wrong with jzip.

I have windows 7 32bit and itunes will not install

The Apple Installer found Itunes and tries to install it but then half way through the install after it completes the downlown it say there was a network error and the installation fails.
The problem is that for some reason it got far enough along to have removed the old version of the Itunes that had been on my system because that is now nowhere to be found.
This makes backing up my daughters Ipad rather hard now...

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or by right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Your photos are never "in" Lightroom. Lightroom utilizes a catalog, which is a database. The database keeps track of where the images are located on your computer system, and keeps track of all adjustments made in Lightroom to those images.Your images will not automatically "find their way" into Lightroom. The way images are added to Lightroom is through the import process. Importing will enable you to download files from a camera card and specify the folder where they will reside on your computer system. The import process will also enable you to add images that are already on your hard drive. Deleting those other programs will do nothing to your images.

I have just downloaded Lightroom 4 and it is not installing.
