Many thanks that does work. But it now leads to another question is this simply a trackpad issue and if so will it be fixed? I use Elements every day and was thinking I would have to go back to Mavericks.

Deauthorizing all is definitely the way to go. You will just need to authorize your computer again after, as well as your husband's.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
You can re-install Firefox 3.6.15 and it will automatically use your existing bookmarks.

It will actually connect to the VPN site and shows a UK IP address, but then when we try to load an iPlayer programme we get the message from the BBC that we are not in the country and, therefore, cannot access the site. To try and stop it happening again, you should be able to turn off in-app purchases on your device via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and (depending upon what iOS version that you have on the device) you might also be able to set 'Require Password' to 'Immediately' on the Restrictions (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered)

Should the advice above not fix things for you...
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

According to Roaring Apps, there is a version of Protools compatible with Lion. But you may need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to buy either Lion or ML on MAS. It looks like you need to get up-to-date with your OS and the apps too.
