I have Lightroom 5.7.1, boxed edition. When I open the software, it freezes and does not respond.
When I open Lightroom, it doesn't respond and gives me the aptly nicknamed "Spinny Beach Ball of Death."
I have a Late 2009 iMac that meets all system requirements, running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3.
It has been working with these specs before, and just now started acting up.

Unless you get that WRT54G for free or next to free, pass on it and pick up an old apple WAP off eBay or similar site. Like you my iPad has a connectivity problem with the WRVS4400N running iOS 4.2.1, where it didn't have trouble with iOS 3.2.2 and ran fine for five months.
My solution at the office was to spur a second router off my DSL router just for the iPad. The first was a WRT54G that had to be set to only one 802.11 protocol to keep the iPad reliably connected, but swapped it out for an old airport extreme that I kept on after testing it to be good. With a home network like you describe, I would run a subnet off the WRVS4400N just for iPad using an apple WAP (the configuration app for Windows is easy to use).

Check for hardware issues

These errors mean that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support. -
final cut pro x - lion - mbp 2011 2.0 15 - not responding at all since latest update. Can't open or edit projects, loading window that pops us when you click the app (as it loads) does not go away, says loading compressor support, paralyzed. Have tried reinstalling, default settings etc

That's the whole issue. I want to run/install photoshop elements but I have to have 10.8. for that. So...be fore I install an upgrade (Yosemite is getting BAD press) I thought I'd check my back up...it's not there...I have the seagate plugged in and the usb into the back of the mac...when I try to turn the time machine "ON" it says airport device not found not ....

I have changed my Iphone once last year. My iphone has being playing up for the best part of 6 months. It Keeps deleting all my music of the phone. it freezes and will not allow me to turn it on or off. if i am in the middle of an app it will randomly shut it down and turn the phone off totally (even if it is charged.) It will not charge properly, it has to be in a exact position to charge and even then go's off and on. I thought this my be my charger but the charger works fine on another phone. it will not allow texts to come through properly and sometimes will not not let me ring people it just freezes and i have to turn it off and on a couple of times in order for it to work. it will not let me update apps and the silent button is not silent it still go's of on ringer.The keyboard will freeze up not allowing me to type anything. It wants me to pay £126.44 for it to be repaire when i have nothing to do with why its not working!

I downloaded the latest iOS7 to my iPad and then the screen went blank and would not respond. I have tried pressing the two buttons together and briefly get the Apple logo but still can not restart, the logo disappears. I have tried connecting to my iMac to restore the iPad but the device does not show up (I have an old iMac). What else can I do?
You need to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 at the very least in order to sync your iPad with iTunes so you could update your Mac, if it can be updated, and if you care to do so.
If that's not an option, you will have to find someone that can restore the device for you with their computer running iTunes or make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask them to restore the device for you.
I hope that you have an iCloud backup, because you will lose everything on the device when it is restored.

Also, I would not give up on the reset technique....holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. It takes about 10-15 seconds and sometimes just a little longer to get the logo to appear. -
When opening a filn in illusrtator CC I have memory plroble,. Opening the same file in CS5 does not make problems.
How can I get in contact with an adobe employee, where I can finally solve my problem with CC (with whom I can send email back and forth or who calls me)... On my PC CC does not work well... "CCleaner" is a scam and it may well have corrupted the operating the system. Get rid of it according to the developer's instructions, then see below.

i tried differnt times to upload my iPhoto 9.1.1 but it's impossible. i did one week ago "upgrade software" but i didn't find update for my iphoto 11. so i surfed to apple.it (i'm italian) and i downloaded 9.2 but when i upgraded iphoto there was a warning : you can do this, before you have to install iphoto 9.1.1! But i just have! so it is weird! so i though to install the 9.1 but it was impossible because asked me the version before...

I have created a movie of vacation pictures on my windows movie maker. ( Windows vista) When I open the timeline, click on audio, and drag a song from itunes, windows movie maker shuts down, and the song is not transferred. Are these systems incompatible? Can I upload the movie to I tunes somehow and then add the music tracks? Thank you...

Please see the question above, as that is the problem I am having. I don't understand why the Bookmarks tab does not show any of the bookmarks which I have tagged. They can only be chosen from the drop down menu. I tried dragging the page to the bookmark toolbar from the location bar but that does not work. Is it a glitch in the system?
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
