Thats pretty much it - installed 7 yesterday because I was having the same problem with 6- beta I figured it was the beta so I uninstalled all firefox versions and downloaded the release version 7. Apparently Visual Studios sees the error and wants to help. Then I crash

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

You should only be using Firefox 24, Firefox 16 is insecure and not support anymore.

Are you trying to RUN or SAVE the download?
Make sure to choose SAVE.
Also, are you current on all your windows update packages?
And what is your internet connection - is it wireless, or wired?

My latest two extension updates constantly show up as tabs each time I start FireFox. Where should I look to make this stop?

WebMail and Xmarks have constantly and consistently shown up as update notification tabs each time I start FireFox. That never used to happen. Is there somewhere I can look to shut off this annoying action. Thanks.

Custom install QT right from the system DVD (#1) that originally came w/your computer.
Your cam files can be redownload/reinstalled from where ever you originally got them from, CD/DVD or the manufacturer's website.
You did not provide your OS information nor the rest of the files that were deleted. Therefore, all I can tell you is that your "Apple" files can be redownloaded from the above mentioned DVD. Your 3rd party files can be reinstalled from their CD/DVD or from the vendor websites.

I have loaded the new Flash version into Firfox several times, but none of my sites recognize it when using Firefox. It works fine on all other browsers, but I would prefer to use Firfox if this problem can be solved.

I use Firefox 4.0.1 on a Mac running Os X10.5.8. When I try to run Facebook or other sites that are heavy users of Flash I get a message that the new version of Flash must be loaded. Apparently it's related to the Firefox plug in.
This isn't exactly a solution but more of a way to avoid opening PDFs with Firefox's plug in.
1. Highlight "Tools" from the Menu Bar in the top left of the screen (or click "Options" if using the Firefox Compact Menu)
2. Select to "Options
3. Select "Applications"
4. Look for "Adobe Acrobat Document" under Content Type and to the right under Action select "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the using Adobe Acrobat in Firefox
5. Open a test PDF. It should open in it's own window now.
Again, not a complete solution but something that'll at least let you scroll with PDFs open.

On the iMac open System Prerferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Calendars then reselect then restart the iMac.
On the iPad, tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Calendars off then back on then reset the iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Hopefully the event synced over all the devices.

Firefox 4 the "close tab" button is missing from the "File" pull down

In Firefox 4 the "close tab" button does not appear in the "File" pull down.
This button does appear in Firefox 3.6.16 but is now gone.
I need it when I have two windows open, each with one tab open and I want to close one window.
The only option presented to me is "Quit" which closes both windows...

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Yes, if you have an appleTV it would be easier. WIthout airplay, you can use APP called BEAMER, beam any video file to your AppleTV hooked to you TV set.
It would stream more smoothly if you put each video file as you go onto the Mac from the HD, and erase after youre done watching same.
