My wife transferd an email form our son on her ipad and she forwarded it to me so I could print it on my desktop machine running thunderbird, this I did. I then moved the email to a new folder on thunderbird. When i come dack to the folder later I connot find the forwarded email. What has happened. Please help . Russell Crowther

It should ne in itunes on your computer and included in your regular backup of your computer.
If for some reason you have failed to backup your music, then - in the U.S only - you can get previous itunes purchases from the beta version of icloud. Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links.

If the photos were synced to the iPod;
- you need a third-party program like TouchCopy or Phone view to copy them to another computer.
- Email them to the computer
- See it there is an app available that will transfer them to your computer. However, there may not be any compatible with your model iPod and its iOS. There is the Photo Transfer app but that requires iOS 4.3 or above but your 2G iPod can only go as high as 4.2.1

WWhat are you syncing your contacts with? A supported application on the computer or cloud service? They should still be there.

i know the update didnt remove the songs it was when the phone had to do a system restore after the update as it was a big update . the problem i have with getting them back is that they are not backed up to the computer . as me and my partner have to use the same itunes . and if we sync and backup to the computer it puts the apps on the wrong phone . so we were told not to back up or sync

what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
have you tried double clicking on your iPhoto Library to see if it will open?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

Please google search for "Mountain Lion disk crash" before upgrading you mac pro. You might need to replace you Mac hard drive after the upgrade.So many people had the same problems including me.
Be aware of the Mountain Lion upgrade problem.

You cannot get warranty or out of warranty service in India on a US purchased phone. The warranty on the iPhone is not international.

Unfortunately what you need is something that is designed for PowerPC Macs. Stuff that is designed for Intel Macs will not work. The PowerPC (PPC) Mac software is getting scarcer. Macs in 2006 shifted to Intel CPUs. Stuff that is designated Universal will work, and you can buy the retail 10.5 if you have no Mac OS 9 related software that needs to load. If you partition your hard disk, or use an external Firewire hard drive partition just for booting into 10.4.11 or earlier, you can still use Classic for Mac OS 9.
