I have lost AirPlay and sharing with my PC since accepting a software upgrade to the TV yesterday. I have tried restoring and reinstalling this software but this failed to solve the problem. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Also check that the ports 5353 and 5354 (Bonjour (mDNSResponder), AirPlay, Home Sharing, Printer Discovery) are open on Windows Firewall.

Launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive (the drive itself, not the volume icons below it.) Is the SMART status "Verified?" If not, replace the drive immediately. If the status is "Verified," the drive may still be failing. Back up all data, if you haven't already done so. Reinstall Mac OS X, then run Software Update. Test with all wired peripherals disconnected. If it's still slow, you have a hardware problem.

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!

Here's my problem: (Lightroom 4) I will edit a photo in "Develop" to the point where it looks great and I'm satisfied with the results. Then I click back to "Library" and the photo seems to go a little out of focus. When I export the photo, it doesn't seem to be as sharp as it is in "Develop" mode. This seems to occur more with wide angle than macro. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Norm

First of all, thanks again to Sean for his suggestion to look inside the transaction log!
Indeed that specific table that I noticed was filling the transaction log, is the largest table in my database. Its size stands at about ~65GB. Like I said earlier, it has no LOB or Overflow columns. But one interesting fact about it is - it had absolutely
no indexes! It was a heap, but it was also partitioned. I didn't know a case like this could cause such problems with shrink? It's weird but it also kinda makes sense in a way.
Anyways, I ran a script to create a partitioned clustered index on that table. That took pretty much all day long due to the table size (almost 7 hours). But once that was finished, shrinking the data file was a breeze!
At least... Until the shrink started "hanging" again because now it started dealing with my
second largest table (~55GB). Like the first one, this one is also a partitioned
heap without any indexes. So I expected this to happen. I guess the solution this time will be the same: Create a clustered index.
Does this make sense to you? A partitioned heap table causing such heavy workload to SHRINK, but when it's moved to a clustered index, suddenly it flies?

This normally indicates a network issue! Could be timing out due to lack of internet speed, security software could be interupting the connection, or the computer can not process the internet as fast as most! the following link should provide some idea's:

On 3/18 I used Firefox to download a translation app called Babylon to my Dell Latitude laptop - running XP Pro. I checked out the app, got all the pop-ups asking me to buy spinoff products & uninstalled Babylon. When I rebooted I couldn't open Firefox.
I started investigating, came up with a weird Pareto Logic UUS error, fixed that. Unistalled Firefox through the Control Panel. Used IE to again download & install latest Firefox. At the end of installation, the dialog box askes "Lauch Firefox now?" which I checked & clicked the Finish button. Nothing happened. I rebooted & tried to launch Firefox from the Start menu, then from the root .exe - no luck. IE launches fine; I just want my Firefox back!i wish i could paste the error message but it is

Problem with replies in Maverick's mail. Originating emails send fine. When replying to an email (various addresses) the reply is hung up and can not be sent. Option becomes put in draft, delete, etc. Any suggestions would be helpful. Mid 2013 iMac.
I don't know how rare this is. I went a week or so without a problem, and now it's starting to recur. Also, in some instances, an email will look unsent (remain in the outbox on the Treo), but it has been sent, and recipients are replying while I'm trying to figure out what is going on. Further, it will send the same email over and over during this madness.
This is a show stopper. If there isn't a software fix soon, I may chuck this phone in the garbage.

UPDATE: The problem comes and goes. The next day, no changes to the treo, everything workeds. Now i'm suspecting the sprint server, and how it/the phone responds from failing to send while roaming. I've since turned off roaming, and haven't had a problem for several days.

i cant login anywhere as all my passwords are saved in firefox, i cant even access teh firefox preference to get my password, it's so sadYou likley have a corrupted Firefox preference or other support file in your User/Library folder.
Programs load these files from the user account to adjust to user specifications, instead of having multiple copies of the same program on the machine.
So when you reinstalled Firefox, it reinstalled the progrma only and the user support files remained from before.
To prove this point, use System Preferences to create another Admin account and log into it, Firefox should run like a charm.
To remove the Firefox support files from the problem user account your going to need to locate these files and delete them one at a time and try FF again and again.
The first one you shoull try is your FF .plist file located in your User/Library folder.
Clicm on the Finder and use the Go > Go to Folder and paste this
~/Library/Preferences
and press Go.
Now scroll down until you see the Firefox or Mozilla .plist file and Trash it, quit and restart Firefox, it will recreate the preference file with default settings you will have to reset it.
Next run through the list of fixes #1-13 here before proceeding.

If you need help deleting other FF files, download the free Easy Find from MacUpdate.com and search for anything "Mozilla" or "Firefox" in your User account only and take your chances you hopefully won't delete your password file in the process.
You should have site passwords written down someplace and locked up tightin case you need them, a computer isn't totally safe and reliable. -
Has anyone got any idea as to why Iphoto/aperture keeps deleteing my photo sets from my Flickr account without warning or reason given. Also when I enter my sets the program will revert all of the photos back to the Pending stage of the up oading process. One or two photos I could live with but some of my set are in excess of 1500 photos per set, and this becomes very very time consuming to re upload them. and whats more annoying on some occassions after spending 12 to 16 hours re uploading them I find that they have all been duplicated. Is there a Bug with Iphoto or Aperture????????
any help would be most welcome P JefferysI am using Iphoto version 9.5.1, and No I am not deleting any photo from any file. what happens is this :- I open up Iphoto and enter my flickr account via the shared folder icon on the left hand side of the screen this is when I get a pop up screen from Iphoto informing me that they have removed a SET of photos from my Flickr account (no reason given) when i go into that set all I can see is dashed empty square where the photo used to be. I will then get another pop up screen saying that Iphoto can no longer access my flickr account and will I permit a reconnection and allow Iphoto to access my flickr account (add pass words etc) when I get back into flickr the SETS have gone and all other photos enter the Pending stage again. After re uploading the missing photos I find that some 50% of them have been duplicated.

Just purchased and downloaded pe 13. While installing, I found out pe13 is not compatible with my OSX 7.5 system. Any Idea's on how to swap for pe 12? It's not available on the Adobe web site. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Adobe is not going to swap 13 for 12. It is selling only 13 download as you found out. So, you are going to have to purchase 12 if you want to use that program. It may still be available at some retail locations, such as Amazon.
