I have lost all apps and need to get them back

my hard drive on my computer crashed. i have had it repaired now but lost all data on it. i have all my apps on my phone. i have tried to tranfer purcases. in the info bar at the top my apps are being transfered. when it finishes tranfering there aro no apps on my pc. i have tried backing up my iphone and it says error. i am using windows 7 with a iphone 4 on ios 4.3.3. also using itunes 10.4. my phone is now starting to go funny when i recieve a missed call it does not show up and my emails do not come through correctly. please help.

To expand upon what gdgmacguy wrote, if you imported the photos thru iTunes to your iPhone, the photos are still on your computer.
If you took photos with your iPhone, they are in the backup. Did you restore from this backup?

Lost all apps, how do I get them back without paying?

I updated my os earlier today, and walked away from my phone/computer. I came back to find my cat fighting my wire, and he had pulled it out of my phone during the update. Of course, this was the one time I didn't backup because it wasn't my computer. So I plugged my phone into my laptop and went to turn it on, only to find that someone had spilled something all over it, and I cannot get it to turn on. I lost everything, but most of all I want my apps back, I had quite a few. I looked around on the app store for something like download previous downloaded apps but didnt see anything. ANy help?

HELP! Lost all notes with first Sync and need to get them back

I had some very important notes on my phone and I need to get them back. Here is some background info.
I bought a new MacBook Pro a couple months ago. I previously have a Sony Vaio. Shortly after I upgraded from 3G to 3GS. Since I couldn't get my playlists from my old laptop to my new laptop, I synced my phone with my old laptop and not my new one for fear of losing everything.
Today, I finally figured out to get my playlists on my MacBook and then I synced my iphone as usual and upgraded to 3.0.1. Of course, I also upgraded to iTunes 9 right beforehand and it had a couple new options for syncing notes and merging data. I have never synced notes before. Everything else seems fine on my phone except for this. I tried restoring to backup, however, I think that iTunes created a new backup on my Macbook since it was the first time I have synced my phone with it. I no longer have my old laptop. I did transfer all my old files to my mac.
What can I do?! How can I get them back?!

If you use the Time Machine on your computer then you can try to find an older copy of the places.sqlite file.

Updated - now have lost apps centre and all apps an can't get them back on

I just updated to ios5 and have this icloud thing, but now I don't have my apps centre or any of my apps on my phone. I have tried to sync but the apps area on itunes does not let me do anything, its like it is frozen on my page. If I go to apps on the left hand side I can see them but I can't get them back on my phone or update them.....I am wondering if the icloud thing is the problem because I don't have wi-fi...PLEASE HELP!

I did have the apps button on my iphne screen from the very time i purchased it, it had the apps 'A' symbol and I could go into that to download apps onto my phone without having to connect to PC and going through Itunes...however now it doesn't exist. Yes I have tried restarting both the phone and the PC, Syncing, resetting Uby way of hitting both buttons on phone for a reboot etc. Yu know when you are in Itunes and you can go into your screen and move your apps from page to page or delete etc, well that page is totally frozen and I won't let me even click on it anymore. I have deleted and re download itunes and all of the apps.But still nothing, the apps are blurred on my screen and state - waiting

I cannot connect to the internet. I think I have my settings all out of whack now and need to get them back to the way they were when it was working. (I know my wireless router is working because my Dell has no problem connecting to the internet.)

On your iMac try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

New OS 5 on my Iphone 4 but have lost all my pictures, need to retreive them.

It doesn't do that by itself. You have to manually initiate a restore.
If you weren't backing up to iCloud and you didn't have Photo Stream on so the photos could upload to the cloud, they're gone. You can't recover them.

With all due respect, I think it's a bug when what is added are several blank screens separating a full screen of icons and the REST of the icons. I actually had 2 entirely blank screens before the majority of my icons started appearing again. I consider it a bug when many people have the same problem over a rather simple procedure. As people have found out, the apps were not "lost" in terms of being uninstalled...they were simply misplaced. Its not too difficult to understand someone's concern when when 5 pages of apps are seemingly replaced with one full screen and a single app on the following page and then blank pages....is it? I don't understand your statement below, when that is exactly the problem many were having and was a solution was explained by Joao81
above...after reading his post, the problem was solved. Call it what you want, it is a problem...just Google it.

iTunes has an option to transfer from iPod to iTunes library the purchased media files. To transfer anything else you will need to go online to find programs to do the transfer. There are many, but since I haven't used them I prefer not to recommend.

I have lost my bookmarks, how can I get them back?

I had to replace my computer and the techs did a backup of my favorites and other files but my bookmarks did not seem to transfer over. Are they hidden somewhere else? Are they stored on the internet? I would like to have them back. No I never backed up my bookmarks.

I tried to click on the places.sqlite file but it asked me for a program to open it with. It then took me to a sqlite web page. I don't know if the techs backed up this file or not. All my internet explorer favorites were there but I guess they get saved to a different place. So I don't know if I can copy that file since my computer didn't know what program to use to open the file or if I did something wrong. Any suggestions? Also, how do I find the current profile folder and put the copied file in that one.

After installinf ios6 I lost all contacts, I could not get them back so I hit restore. This restored the phone to 4 months back. The phone did not give me the option to restore from the cloud. is there anyway I can now restore from the cloud?

How many backups are in the cloud? When I installed ios6 it backed up to the cloud, since then I restored the phone trying to regain my contacts. At this point the used the last backup I performed on the computer 5 months ago. I never had the oppertunity to restore from the cloud. Is there anyway I can now restoe from the cloud and would it have the backup that was performed when I installed ios6?

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your phone. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your phone is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.
