I have lost all my Podcasts. Please help

Hi there,
I have had to recently format, but I wrote down the names of my subscribed Podcasts, and re=subscribed to them.
But I am only able to download recent Podcasts, not all of them?
Where can I find all the old ones?
E.g., Happy Tree Friends was one of the Podcasts I was subscribed to, but now….There’s only 3 episodes there! There was about 20 before I formatted…
Please can some one tell me were I can re-download all my old Podcasts!

Most podcasts only have a limited number of them listed at the iTMS.
Older episodes often (but not always) are available at the website of the creator.
Click on the arrow of the podcast (next to the name).
This brings you to the podcast at the iTMS.
Next click on 'Website'
This will bring you to the website of the creator.
You might now be able to download the missing ones.
After adding them to iTunes, they won't show up in the Podcast section however. A special flag is set when you download them via the iTMS subscribtion.
Downloading them directly off the creators' website does not set this flag.
I don't know of any tool for Windows to set this flag, but they might exist.

If you search these forums for Mac Mail problem you will find many many posts similar to yours and many many others about not being able to send or receive emails when it worked fine a few hours ago or yesterday.
It is because the built in Mac Mail program is one of the Worst Email clients ever written and WILL, not can, Fail at any time.
So if you want to not have any of these type problems in the future stop using Mac Mail and switch to some other, Any Other, Email client/program.
I suggest Thunderbird as I have been using it on both Mac Lion and Mt Lion and on my Windows PC for over a year without any problems on either platform or OS version.

I have connected my phone to itunes and restored it instead of backing it up. I have lost about a years worth of photos.
My apps and notes are still there though.
please can anyone help me to recover my lost photos?

To answer your question, a restore deletes everything of your iphone/ipod/ipad. Unless you have your photos on your comupter or a memory stick then sorry but you have lost them. Make sure that you back up ur iphone in the future regularly so that you dont lose ur stuff.

Need to reinstall OS X but have lost the restore discs--please help!!

Hi. I just upgraded to a new macbook. My previous computer is a G4 iBook which I want to wipe clean and re-install the OS so I can sell it. The trouble is, in the 3 or 4 times I have moved apartments since getting the iBook I have lost the discs that came with it.
From what I've read I can't use the discs that came with my macbook as those are for an Intel system. Can anyone help? I have an external USB 2.0 hard drive, but don't know much about partitions and boot volumes, etc.

Depending on which iBook you have, your only option may be the iBook G4 restore discs.
Some iBook G4s shipped with OS 10.4+ so they won't boot from a retail version of OS 10.4.
You can contact Apple and get replacement discs... for a fee.

Mail has lost all my settings please help

So as the description says, Apples Mail program has lost all my settings, emails stationary etc.
I have been using time machine though.
Can anyone tell me is there a way to retrieve all this data?

When was the last time you did a backup with iTunes? If your latest backup has all of the material you have been using you can recover by connecting to the computer you sync with and restore the content via iTunes. Attach to your computer, open iTunes and do a backup restore.

I have lost all sound - can anyone help?

I am just starting out with logic and was clicking around. I now have no sound coming out of the speakers. Volume is on and other programmes have sound and also i can see that the tracks in logic are registering. What it might be is that every time i open logic it asks me for a password to an airplay device, could the sound be trying to come through that? How can i disable that feature?
Any help is appreciated.

HELP! Without any prompting for such a download, Firefox tells me 'Thank You for choosing Firefox 4', & I have lost ALL of my bookmarks! I absolutely need to restore them, please please help. Not impressed at all!

I am shellshocked.... so far I am not happy with Firefox's latest effort. When I first got this version, my 'saved tabs' function did not work, which I use regularly, and I lost vital site information with the update. I figured out how to fix this by changing a setting, and figured my problems were over.
But NOW without any prompting from me, Firefox re-opened, having lost the tabs I had, yet again, and instead opened up two new tabs, 'Welcome to FireFox' (ty for choosing firefox4), and 'Mozilla Firefox Start Page', AND I have lost all my bookmarks!, WTF! Please help me to restore them, I have tried the help info provided, but they are still not restored :( Some of those treasured bookmarks, an extensive list, I will never get again, unless I can restore the ones I had. :( NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.

Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :(

Try this ..
On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to: Notes
Then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.
Other than that, try Time Machine > http://pondini.org/TM/15m.html

i download the sofware update on to my pc and the next thing i know all my contacts are gone, the only things that have come up on the icloud CONTACTS app is the service call numbers thats it, i have no idea what to do.. i have itunes on my desktop and i looked for them there but i still cant find them, i dont have outlook i have VISTA so its hard for me to look for my contacts.

If those tabs aren't in History > Recently Closed Tabs or Windows then they are probably lost.
You can try to search them in the History if you haven't bookmarked them.
Using the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting is a more reliable way to restore session data.
* Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

It can't do that by itself. You had to click through several prompts telling it to restore it from a backup of an old phone for that to happen.
If the phone was not backed up to iCloud before this happened, or to another computer, then the data is gone. There is no way to recover it.
