My computer is old and keeps freezing up. I need to get my Itune purchases to a new computer. I messed up and synced my Ipod with my new computer before I moved my library over. Now my Ipod has no songs on it and the songs are frozen in my old computer. Is there anyway to get my songs onto my new computer and have my Ipod touch sync with my new computer. Or have I lost all of my songs? HELP

Thank you for your questions/advice. The answer for your 1st question is yes, and "may be" to your 2nd question. Fortunately, I had exported the recently developed photos into my external head drive. After reverting back to the original catalog, I have re-imported those developed photos. Now everything is restored. I need to learn more about the subtleties in using the Lightroom.

From AIM you may also see this:-
The basic premise seems to be that AIM are no longer going to support (accept) the three types of Apple Issued IDs and leave @icloud.com ones as the only ones.
The Messages appearing in Mavericks seems ot override the implication in the article that moving to a later version of Lion (later iChat 6) and higher will be one resolution.
The article finishes with suggesting Maverick OR changing to an AIM Name - apparently missing that you need either an AIM name for older iChats if you ar not going to Upgrade OR needing an AIM or @icloud.com ID if using you are upgrading.
Solution.
Create a new Buddy list. (whilst keeping the old one active). It does not matter if you are upgraded or Not at this point.
Make the Screen Name an AIM registered one if you are going to be still using iChat 5 or lower or an early version of iChat 6 in Lion.
Now highlight every single Buddy in your old Buddy list (Display Off LIne Buddies as well).
Click the the top one and hold Shift whilst clicking the bottom one.
Click and Drag to new Buddy List.
I have moved 264 this way before.

My laptop was updating itunes and turned off and every since when i try to load itunes it brings up a window that says
The itunes library.itl fie cannot be found or created. The default location for this fie is in the itunes folder in the Music folder.

If you have an installation disc for Elements 9, then I would suggest that you uninstall Elements 9 from your old computer, de-activate during the uninstallation. On Windows 8 computer, insert the disc and install Elements 9, activate it during installation. I'm getting a message that reads 'The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation." Why is this? And how can I fix it? I'm worried that I'm going to lose my entire library because of this.
A belated reply, as the problems itunes has have discouraged me from using it much. If you uncheck the "read only" box, it doesn't stay that way! Next time you use it, the box comes up checked.
I'm still having that problem, even when I open iTunes as administrator.
I've yet to see the answer to this problem. I use itunes mostly to download audiobooks, and I'm ready to download more, and want to save them! -

iTunes is unable to run. I tried to run iTunes and a message comes up that says "the iTunes library.itl file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file." what is the solution to unlock it ?!

Hi, I`d like to connect my Ipad wirelessly to a stereo to listen to my music from the iTunes library on streaming, but also to movies online, games, Goear…) and so on. "No boot signature in partition" is the message i get when my computer boots. I always had an ata disk it booted from, sda. the OS was on sdb. I got rid of the ata disk and wanted my pc to boot from the disc which contains the OS. So hdb became sda.
