I have lost my Dreamweaver MX Studio disks and serial numbers and the PC on which the suite was installed was destroyed. Can I download this suite and run it on my new PC?

I believe you will be getting the new computer on which Dreamweaver MX will not be compatible as it is very old. My suggestion would be to get the new version of Dreamweaver.

Have no idea what the error represents. However, the web suggests: "Error 1500. Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one." That would suggest to me that you need to reboot. However, if you have uninstalled AA8, first delete the "Acrobat 8.0" folder (it should be in Program Files>Adobe). Next, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html. Then reboot and log in as the administrator. After logging in, disable anti-virus for the installation and install AA8. After the installation (you may also have to activate), open Acrobat and use Help>Updates to update until the updates are done. You should only have to reboot after the final update.
AA8 should work fine with OFFICE 2007. However, Office will often disable the macros and you may have enable the Acrobat macro if you want to use PDF Maker. You should have still been able to print to the Adobe PDF printer.

Do you need to reinstall or only need the serial number?
To retrieve the serial number - if Aperture is still running on any Mac you own, you can see the serial number in the "About" panel when Aperture is running:
From the main menu bar: Aperture > About Aperture.
If you do no longer have a running Aperture installation to retrieve the serial number, contact Apple with a proof of purchase and ask for a replacement serial number, see these links as to what is considered to be a proof of purchase:

Make sure there's enough free space on the startup disk.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop.
Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available.
Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.
If there's sufficient disk space, the startup disk may need repairing.
Launch Disk Utility located in /Applications/Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
You will need your install disc if the startup disk needs repairing.

What format is your problem clip? Are there wave forms visible in the section without sound?
Right click on the clip in the event broswer and choose Reveal in Finder; open the clip in Quick Time to confirm that there is sound throughout at that stage of your workflow.

On Win 7 I have lost the use of the forward and back button - both are greyed out - except on this page ??? when I leave this page the greyed out appears on all tabs or links in use. I am using Firefox 3.6.16. To get to this page I have 7 tabs open at present and all ( except this one - odd! ) are greyed out.

WWhat are you syncing your contacts with? A supported application on the computer or cloud service? They should still be there.

Snow Leopard is not available for download.
If your Mac came with Snow Leopard, note the serial number, contact Apple, give them your serial number, and they may be able to send you a replacement copy (for a fee).
Note: You should always take good care of the install disc(s) which came with your Mac. I recommend making a few backups and keeping the originals in a safe location; use the backups when needed. If you have a portable Mac, always have a copy of the install disc with you, especially when travelling.

Re wifi:
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Csound1 What Ive been trying to explain is that I have been running bootcamp, I open the app where the first screen is the introduction, i hit continue, the first time I select "download the latest windows support software fromm Apple" then I return and instead select "Install Windows 7." Then hit continue. The third screen is where I "Create a Partition for Windows" I set Windows to 80 gigs then hit INSTALL. As stated before Bootcamp cannot find the install drivers saying "The installer disc could not be found." My windows software is on a USB drive not a disc, I tried using a virtual disc reader to make it appear that the windows software was running on a disc, still no luck. What I would like to know is how to install windows on bootcamp.

I spent over an hour on hold with Apple last night only to find out they are being bombarded with calls about this. Just bought the iPhone 6 a few days ago, lost my ringtones, rebought them because I didn't want the hassle of being on hold like I was. They disappeared after 24 hours! Re purchased them thinking it was a glitch, nope, gone again! Apple tech said they are having problems with the 8.1.1 update and you can call to get reimbursed. They are working on a new update and hope that will fix the problem but they can't guarantee it! What??? They don't know when the update will be available and if it will fix the problem. But they said the ringtones should hopefully reappear on the phones......Get it together Apple!!
