I have lost my iPhone 5. Is it possible to load the backup data (including notes) from the iPhone backup to my iPad (air)?

Hello I had an iPhone 5 that i have now lost. I'd like to access the backup for that phone, particularly the notes data. Is it possible to access the backup data via my iPad air?
If not do i have to wait until i get my new iPhone then restore from the backup?
if someone could point me in the right direction ASAP?

Nobody here can restore your email for you - we're just other Apple users like yourself.
Responsibility for backing up email is yours, so you'll have to restore it from your own backups.

I have this exact same issue!
I was on 2.0.1 running fine until late last week, noticed emails would not show up unless I had opened them in outlook. I thought I ran into a bug so I upgraded to 2.0.2. Now I can sync my email if outlook had them opened previously, but no calendar or contacts at all. I don't think my exchange admins will move me to another server, any other ideas?
I love my iphone but if these features don't work I can't use it. I would appreciate any ideas.

How to sync all data including Apps from my iPhone 5 to Computer

I am using iPhone 5 (IOS 7.1.1) and want to sync all data from my phone with iTune library. I have already installed latest iTune for Windows 8. But I couldn't find my device in the right top corner of the iTune. I have also checked the device from File (menu bar). Sync,backup,restore from back up under device (from File menu bar) are not allowed to choose. All are faded. Please see my attached print screens. Thank you in advace for solving the problem.

Hi, unfortunately only one of your screenshots come through. If you connect your iPhone to your computer and start iTunes, then go to View on your menu bar in iTunes, and select "Show Sidebar" that should show up your iPhone under Devices in the sidebar.
I've found that the failsafe way to back up properly ois to follow these steps:
1) Ensure all apps on your iPhone are updated using the App Store app.
2) Connect your phone to your computer and initiate iTunbes. Your iPhone wil sync automatically. Let it, and we'll come back to that later.
3) Once that's done, go to File>Devices, and select to Transfer Purchases from your iPhone to your iTunes account.
4) Once that's completed, ensure all your apps are updated in your iTunes library. In the Library folders in the Sidebar, look under Apps, and that will tell you if there are apps to be updated there. Click on that, to show the screenshot you provided, and then select Update All Apps from the icon in the bottom right hand corner.
5) Then from your Summary screen, back up your iPhone to your computer, and check the box to encrypt that back up.
6) Also back up your iPhone to your iCloud account. There's an option to do it from the iTunes Summary Screen, but personally i prefer to do it form my iPhone.
If you follow these steps, your backup will be watertight. Some might argue that the steps are not all 100% necessary, but it works for me and I never lose data.

How do I specify the gmail outgoing server if I have multiple gmail accounts in my mail? I have 2 business accounts and when I send mail from one account, it is sent from the other account and the sending email is not from the correct account.

I love my apple email and do not want to use google mail on safari. However, I have 2 gmail accounts set up on apple mail, but when I send mail from one of my gmail accounts (I choose the specific gmail account in the drop down window), it actually goes out as if it is from the other gmail account. I can't have that happen because one is my job, the other is a personal business account and unfortunately, the mail from both gmail accounts want to send through the personal business account. How do I make it send from a specific gmail account? I even tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again hoping I set it up wrong in the first place, but to no avail, it is still doing the same thing except this time I set the job account up first and then the personal business account and now everything goes from the job account! The only good thing is that the incoming messages work properly and they go into the correct inbox. Somebody please fix my outbox!

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

How do I get my notes from damaged iphone onto mac?

I dropped my iphone 3G a few months ago and the screen cracked pretty badly, but it still worked fine until last night. I would have bought new one, but I have been waiting patiently for a year now for the new iphone to come out. The 3G phone still works and charges and everything, but it seems like the sensory area in the bottom right corner has stopped working. I can't slide and unlock my phone. I am still receiving calls, texts, reminders, etc. but I cannot view them. I backed up and transferred everything from the phone after this happened, but my notes. I neeeeeed my notes.
How can I backup/transfer my notes from my iphone without going into the phone to my macbook pro?

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, try this a few times if necessary. If still problem, you may have to just Restore your iPhone to get it working. In the future sync your iPhone with iTunes routinely and when it contains important data, iCloud when set correctly will do this for you continuously.

In most cable systems, the router you have will plug into your modem and just work automatically. A NAT (Network Address Translation) router takes your external IP and hands out LAN (Local Area Network) based IPs. All of the devices you are working with right now should handle the change automatically unless you've changed from the default automatic configuration.
The problem with your wireless end of this is that the iPhone is not yet 802.11n, only 802.11g. Because that router is not dual band, all of your wifi devices will be forced to slow down to 802.11g speeds. This won't matter much for each device that's connecting to the internet, as your bottleneck is still going to be there. Where you will see slowdowns is device to device connections, like transferring data between the devices.
