As far as I know, AppleCare Plus only covers up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling; it doesn't cover a lost phone.

If your ipad has only 797 MB free and it tells you that you need 3.4 GB to update, then you need to begin deleing files, whatever it takes to free up space.
Consider...
Delete apps you don't use.
Delete videos you don't want (these take up a lot of space).
Do you have a lot of emails stored on the device?
Are there apps that store data files, like a PDF reader? If there are a lot of these, you need to delete some.
The bottom line is that you need to remove data and/or apps on your device to make more storage available.
But for videos and photos, always sync them to a computer first to archive them. -
hello, i have received an ipad and it is not going to well. i will be charging it for 5 hours and when i unplug it, it says it is still not charged. anybody know what is going on?
Same problem for me.
1. Cannot connect to wifi as icloud password pop up keeps appearing.
2. tried deleting account. UNable to do so.
3. tried resetting password by logging into apple id through desktop as mentioned in one of the responses in another thread. Unfortunately the apple id to be reset is the same as being prompted by icloud and hence unable to reset the same.
Feel like breaking the **** ipad into bits. Stupid of apple to let such a bug in and not offer support !! -
I changed the AirPlay password on my apple tv, and now I see 2 apple tvs on my ipad, iphone, and within the remote app. How do I get rid of the "old" one?

Ive had my ipod for almost half a year. And it has barely been dropped. My home button never worked and withing the first 3 months my lock button got stuck down. And a month after that my screen turned very bright and wont work
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB one and $99 for the others. They do not fix yours.

Adding a 2nd Iphone to the same apple id? or new one?
We will be getting my husband a iphone in the next week (I already have one). Should we create a new apple id for him or add his phone to mine? I am wondering how that will work with imessage if we want to send imessages to each other? We also may want to use the same apps but not want to both pay for them. What is the best way to do this? Also should we have to game center accounts? Sorry I have so many questions. We both have ipads too I just wnat to get it all straightened out. One last thing I won't want my contacts to sync on to my husbands phone but I will want his to be backed up somewhere.....
You can share an Apple ID for purchases (in Settings>Store>Apple ID) but you should use separate IDs for other iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, Game Center, etc. If you don't you will end up with a mess (e.g., your calendar and contacts will be merged on iCloud, your message identities will not be separated with iMessage, etc.). Sometimes if you make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store the Genius will exchange it at no cost. It is not coverd by the warranty byt sometimes the Genius will. Otherwise for a 32 BG yu will have to pay $149 for the exchange..

When I set up the icloud I was using my then email address. My email address has now changed.
I tried to access under the old email address to change it to a new email address but I couldn't remember the security questions and as I can't access the old email address, I can't change it. So to solve the problem I set up a new account under the new email address. The only problem is my iphone is still asking for the old email address password which doesn't work.
How do I connect my iphone to the new account as it wont let me delete the old account on the iphone without the password (which as mentioned above doesn't work)?Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID. -

I believe that the fact that you were able to put the phone into Lost Mode indicates that you did have Find My iPhone setup (turned on). With broken screen Apple Store will replace the entire iPhone 4S for $149. If you have extended AppleCare (AppleCare Plus) I believe the cost will be $50 for iPhone 4S replacement.
