As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you. -

I have lost my iphone 5 in my office and after sometime I find it in my office in my back drawer but some one has lock it by ICloud plz help me how to recover my phone U have all details of my phone.The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords, especially your Apple ID/iCloud password NOW!
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, then phone cannot be re-activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored. -

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up. You can't use the FIndMyiPhone app on the iPod since the app requires iOS 7
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

If you don't have your iPhone anymore, you can't access the data on it remotely.
However, if you are syncing to iCloud, you can set up iCloud syncing on your computer and at least get your contact info.

I have lost my iphone. I rang my service provider who deactivated my sim card as I am on a contract. I logged into icloud and my device is appearing offline however i requested the erase iphone feature.. which is still pending. My question is how safe is my information... If someobody was to put there sim into my iphone would it delete my info as soon as they got signal? The erase will be executed if it ever goes back online with Find My iPhone still enabled on the phone, whether that's via wifi or 3G. The good news is that if you set a passcode on the phone before it was lost your data is safe even if the remote erase command isn't executed. The only way someone would be able to use the phone without the passcode is to force it into recovery mode (which erases all data) and restore it as a new iPhone.

I have lost my Iphone last week. I know this has been a while, but I am desperate. I have talked to At&t and there is no way they could track my phone with it turned off. So I was wondering if there's any way that we can check the last location of the phone before it died? And also, if there's any way we can ping the phone in case it was stolen and was turned on? If you did not setup Find My Phone, I'm afraid yo're out of luck. There is no practical way to track your phone.

I need any help i can get, im having trouble with the app find my iphone. I have lost my iphone, checked on the computer, and somehow, took it away so how do i get it back??If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. Unfortunately not. You should have turned on Find my iPhone when you were prompted to when you first set up the phone. You don't need the app, by the way: the feature is part of the phone OS. You would have been able to locate and wipe it through icloud.com on a computer.

I have lost my Iphone and never activated my Icloud on my phone. Is there anyway of locating it whereabouts??? Also Who ever has my phone has downloaded find my phone. Is there anyway Apple can find out the address that was downloaded from??
Unfortuantely, you can only track the phone if you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost or stolen. I don't believe there is anything that Apple can do to locate your phone either.

The ONLY way to track/locate any lost iPhone is if you had Find My Phone setup/activated & turned on BEFORE you lost your phone. If you didn't do that, there is no way to locate your phone other than physically looking for it.
