I have lost my photos since performing a back up, and now i cant retrieve them from a previous back up?
I have an iphone 5, it locked up so i restored from a previous back up, but it lost all my photos from the album from my previous iphones, which are videos and phortos of the first 3 years of my daughters life so they mean alot! Ive tryed everything, going back and restoring to the earliest date possible, but nothing? Please tell me they are hiding somewhere? I have tried downloading bits of software that they charge for, but on the demo's they search your laptop, and it is finding the data so they are there somewhere? Thanks.......

You have failed to import your pics for three years as you should and somehow you have determined this to be soemone elses fault.
What did you think would happen if you did not import your pics/vids for three years?

Right click on or near one of the other headers and a pop-up will appear and you will be able to select the Basic Panel for viewing.

You should ALWAYS make sure that everything is on your computer and backed up, most especially before any update. The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer regularly.

I have the latest iTunes software on my iMac mini and now have IOS7 on my iPhone and now I cant sync music from my library either by wifi or by usb? I get song lists that scoll at a million miles an hour but no actual content. What should I do to get my music onto my iphone.
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
In certain apps like ifunny it asks for access to your photos. I accidentally picked no and now I cant save photos. What can I do?
Go to setting privacy photos
And find that app and switch the switch to ON -

Your back up via iCloud is only for use for restoring your phone after wiping it. You can't inspect or utilise specific parts of the back up. -

How can I use my backup external hard drive to sync into Lightroom and still work on the same photos I was working on and get rid of the ?. The photos are on a folder so I need to someone sync the folder into Lightroom. Please help!
When I right click on an image, then went to Go to Folder in Library, it pulls up the new external hard drive where I made the new link. When I try to work on the photos, the image still says file image is offline or missing. When I right click on the image to Show in Finder, it says the image could not be used because the original file could not be found. I eventually did click on their locate and found the image. When I linked those two together, a few minutes later ALL the "?" went missing and now IT WORKS!!!!
That was weird!

I have an IPad and use Pages. Now half of my documents are gone. Where did they go and how do I get them back.
If you backup your iPad, then the documents should be in your backup. If you have important documents in any app, you should backup very frequently in the event that something happens so that you can restore them from the backup.
If you use iOS file sharing with iTunes, then the documents might be in your iTunes library.
If you use iCloud with Pages, check in iCloud,com and see if they appear in there. I don't think it is likely that they will be there, if they disappeared from the iPad, but it is worth a try anyway.
In the event that this is some software glitch, try closing the Pages app, reboot the iPad and then launch Pages again.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the Pages icon. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If you don't backup, don't use iOS file sharing or don't use iCloud, then most likely your files are gone and you will not be able to retrieve them. -
I have purcase several audio books via Itunes and they are on my computer however I have been unable to figure out how to transfer (sync??) them to my Ipod. Also I have receipts for several Itune audio books but they are not showing up on my purchased list. Help!!!

iTunes does not garentee to carry a book forever, a serious flaw. If you can't find the book in iTunes anymore and didn't keep it on the computer, or backed up, it may be gone.

IPhoto was open, but "unexpectedly quit". When I opened it again a couple days later, my most recent photo uploads (for the past month or so) were missing, with dated Events folders saying "no photos". This had happened another time about a year ago? What happened, and how do I retrieve my photos? I hadn't backed them up, but do they automatically do so on iCloud?
Assuming you're running iPhoto 9 or later do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
