The "File Edit View Window Help" menu disappears after opening Adobe Acrobat X Standard

After installing Adobe Acrobat X Standard, when I run the program the "File Edit View Window Help" menu is visible for only a brief second then disappears. I tried to press F11 or other functions keys to bring it back. I also installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro which I also have a license for and it would do the exact same thing. Reinstalling the programs did not seem to resolve the problem. Is there an issue inside the registry?

When I press F9, the menu bar appears but the words "File Edit View Window Help" are still missing.
When I press F9 again the menu bar will close.

I down loaded firefox 3.6 and now I can't see any of my tool bar's or menu bar. Usually I can click on view then toolbars and check the ones I want to see. But the tool bar with file, edit, view, tool, ect.. is not visible. I have gone in and checked on my start up which show they are suppose to be there and locked on top. But they are not there. If I open Internet Explorer they are all there. Whats up.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F). 
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. 
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

I just downloaded firefox 4 but still have the file/edit/view/etc of firefox 3...?

In the walkthrough of Firefox 4 it shows just one orange button where everything is kept all together, but I still have all the single buttons from Firefox 3. To get it you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.
If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.

To restore your interface layout, go into ''View > Toolbars > Customize... > Restore Default Set''.
If you can't see the menu bar, press ALT or F10 in your keyboard to make it temporarily visible. If you want it to be permanently visible, go into ''View > Toolbars > Menu Bar'', or right-click the Navigation Toolbar (the Reload button, for example) and select ''Menu Bar''.
If this doesn't help, right-click the navigation toolbar, select ''Customize...'' and click ''Restore Default Set''. If it doesn't appear right away, try pressing ALT or F10. You can go into ''View > Toolbars > Menu Bar'' to make it permanently visible, or right-click the Navigation Toolbar and select ''Menu Bar''.
If none of this helps, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Try disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal.

All versions of firefox software updates since 3.5.6 have the file,edit,view, history, bookmars,tools, help line missing on the startup page when i load new versions. I have to go back to version3.5.6 in order to get those items on my start page.

I use windows basic vista. I don't have any additional info. I use firefox w/o using any add-on's.

The file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools, help options on the menu bar will not open. This started to happen, intermittently, in the last few hours . . . and, now, seems permanent. I have lost my 'file,edit, ...' task bar from the upper left side of my LR screen. My upper left corner now reads something about welcome to Lightroom mobile. ( I have never had or used the mobile version and I can't use it anyway. ) When I push my mouse pointer up again the top of the screen the 'file, edit,...' does not reappear and stay as it has been doing for the last 3 years. How can I get it back? And, maybe what did I do so I can avoid this from happening again? Thank you. (I am not PC knowledgeable, please bear with me.)

Does the menu bar appear when you move your mouse pointer to the top of your display. If so then you could change the behavior of Lightroom via the menu Window->Screen Mode

I have uninstalled and re-installed and it re-installs the same way.

In earlier versions of Windows (e.g. XP), whenever I changed the screen resolution on my computer to a lesser resolution in order to show the link icons on my desktop in a larger, more readable size, all the software programs, including yours, appeared on my screen with the menu bars in the larger font size that I needed.
However, in Windows 7, this is not the case. Even though I have selected the lowest resolution, making the icons on my desktop extremely large, I cannot read the options across the top menu bar of your program, nor the pull-down menu items that they contain. I cannot see the graphic depictions of options on the left side of the screen. They are all too small. How can I make your program increase the size?
