I have lost the use of the awesomebar...how do I reinstall it?

I find Firefox for Windows 8 very frustrating! I uninstalled some toolbar items that automatically came with something I wanted to download, and now I have no toolbar on top of my Firefox browser...which means no back button, no tabs on the right for bookmarks and history, and it's very frustrating. Please help me figure out how to get the Awesomebar back (at least, I think that's what it was).

If a toolbar goes missing, here are some ways you can get it back:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar, then choose it from the drop-down menu
* open the classic View menu using Alt+v, then Toolbars to display the list
If neither of those functions, you might be in full screen mode. You can use the F11 function key to switch between full screen and normal view.
Any luck?

Well, iCloud has nothing to do with this.
Do you have the built-in backup function Time Machine running on your Mac?

  • I have lost Safari from my iphone. How do I reinstall it?

I have somehow lost Safari from my iPhone. Can anyone help?

It can't be deleted. It either:
    a) got moved to another page or into a folder.
    b) was hidden by setting restrictions.
    or
    c) has been blocked by a system policy enforced by an Exchange administrator if you added a business e-mail account.

Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!
    Thanks for the advice, Bee

Unfortunately not. Lion has made many adjustments to the previous system. Try opening your pdfs in keynote.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

  • I have lost the use of the 'forward' and 'back' button

On Win 7 I have lost the use of the forward and back button - both are greyed out - except on this page ??? when I leave this page the greyed out appears on all tabs or links in use. I am using Firefox 3.6.16. To get to this page I have 7 tabs open at present and all ( except this one - odd! ) are greyed out.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • I have lost the ability to log into find my iPhone using my daughters iTunes login to track her while she's driving

I have lost the ability to track my daughters phone using her log in for find my iPhone since updat

Does she have her own iCloud account?  You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone".  So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account.  Is that what happened in your case?

I am interpreting that to say that the detail panel is missing your develop module. If that is the case, right-click on one of the other panel headings and make sure there is a checkmark for detail.

I have just started using the i phone 5 and have lost the Safari icon it was there now its gone ! any ideas guys

    Hi
You might have swiped it into another icon by error if you were moving things around.  You can find these easily as they have a black background.
Also, to see if you rae running an active Safari, double click on your bottom button and all of the  active applicatiosn will come up.  You can scroll through these to see if Safari is running (and not lost).
    Cheers

My iPhone is from Japan and I want to activate it here in the Philippines because I'm living here. I have lost the original SIM from Softbank and replaced it with a new SIM card from Globe. How can I use the SIM card from Globe?

You cannot. The iPhone is locked to Softbank, and only they can unlock it. Problem is that Softbank will NOT unlock the phone, as they do not offer iPhone unlocking.
Buy an iPhone in the Phillipines.
PS Before you go on a rant at Apple, be aware that Apple does NOT unlock phones and they do not set unlocking policies. The carriers (Softbank in this case) set the unlocking policy.
