I have MacBook wherein ios 10.9 is loaded. In boot camp I have installed win7 32bit.Earlier it was showing the hard disk drive of Mac.Now it has disappeare, with the result I am not able to operate Mac. pl help

Thanks Shanky may be u believe or not but right now I am in a migration of 4 lakh documents in documentum on Production site.

HT3874 I have just installed the recommended updates which has resulted in Suitcase no longer being able to open. I am running 10.6.8. I am on a deadline so would be grateful for some help!

I would be grateful if I could get some help regarding Suitcase. I just installed three updates that were recommended (one was for iTunes, another a security update and to be honest, can't even remember what the third one was for). Anyway, after two restarts I can no longer run Suitcase which is a bit of a disaster as I working to deadline and I need Word and Quark XPress.
What can I do? Suggestions most welcome with urgency!

Thank you for your response – I am running 10.6.8 (apologies for any confusion if I didn't make it clear in my earlier post).
I have just returned from a meeting so was pleasantly surprised to see so many responses. And I normally *do* know better and in my old job I would have never updated whilst on a deadline. Somehow working from home (only my second week) has made me forget all the rules!
I am a bit scared of removing anything or reinstalling at the mo. But I will look into it. I feel quite out of touch with how Macs operate now (I was clearer about OS9). But thank you and fingers crossed that it works!

You need a Firewire cable to run between the two Macs. Using Utility>Migration Assistant running on your new MacBook Pro, transfer what you want (with all the preferences and such) from your MacBook to your MBP. Here's more info from Apple.
You might have an issue with the Serial number for Office, but hopefully you have that around.

That's what Apple proposes in here Boot Camp: System requirements for Microsoft Windows
Personally I would double these amounts and add to that the diskspace needed for your Windows games.

You need to read and follow the Boot Camp instructions. Boot Camp Assistant is already on your computer in the utilities forderf. You run Boot Camp Assistant. Part of the process is to to then download the Windows Support software. This download is then installed from within Windows.
There is no Boot Camp download that needs to be installed or unzipped from within OSx which you seem to be doing.

Macs don't show me created the partition for windows. And if through Bootcamp that says "No bootable device found" . Please HELP.

If you install Windows on a Mac, say you gave 30GB on widows, after installation you have 2GB from 30GB, while the size of the files in Windows is 18 GB, should be free 12 from 30. Hidden files on large amounts of no (100 MB all hidden files together). Know that there is a disk which reserves memory for the system, but I don't have, I look through the taskbar there is a disk with osx and bootcamp and all. What could it be, if you of course know.

I am using a MacBook Pro (2010) with 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB, 1067 MHz, DDR3, Startvolume Macintosh HD.
After downloading the package and starting upgrading it asks acceptance of the license-agreement. After that it asks for the volume were to install. And when I click on the Startvolume Macintosh HD (which is the only available on the machine) it says: "The volume is already being used for Time Machine-Backups".
It doesn´t offer to skip that point or to reconfigure the Time Machine settings.
The point is that my Time machine is not and has never used the Mac HD for Backups. In the past I have used an external drive and since 05/2014 I am using a Time Capsule which is appropriately addressed in the Time Machine settings.
