From the time I have upgraded to Mavericks, I am having trouble syncing my gmail emails. After the mail update my personal mail accounts from gmail are working fine but I am still having trouble with my office gmail account. I am receving new emails in my web browser inbox but not in the mail application. Also, I could only see the new messages if I quit the mail application and relauch it. Please suggest any remedy?

I have the iPhone 4 and I am having trouble updating to iOS7. Though I initially didn't care about updating, I can't download certain apps without updating to i0S7. I have tried to update while wireless and while connected to iTunes, but it is saying that I do not have enough storage space to update. As long as your music is in iTunes, you can delete it from your iPhone no problem. iTunes will not change. You cannot update if you do not have enough space, so if you can remove that music and some photos, it should work then.

Hello , it's me again with the second hand iPhone. I am trying to sync it to my computer and after buying some apps I thought it would be easy. Anyway, when I go through the process it always comes up with the previous owners ID and will not let me sync to my computer. Can you give me guidence so that I can move on to the next stage of Hi Tech products.

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Are you possibly using Disk Utility installed on the internal hard disk? If you wish to completely erase a startup disk, you would have to start the computer from another disc/disk. See, for example, the link below:

If you do not have access to a suitable system disc, you may want to try an Internet search for an old PowerPC version (dban-2.0.0_powerpc.iso) of a data erasure utility called DBAN instead. Once a bootable CD-R has been created from a downloaded iso file, you could test whether that disc would let you boot the PowerBook G4 (while holding down the C key). Then follow instructions on screen.

There is no supported method to downgrade the iOS on a device.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

The question mark means the computer cannot find a bootable volumes so can;t do anything, That, combined with annoying sounds, strongly suggests a failed hard drive.
You can ask a "genius" at an Apple Rtail Store to test it but I'm pretty sure the drive is kaput. I'm hoping you had your data backed up.

Here is Ricoh's official driver download page specifically for the Afico MP 161. Note that new drivers for this device were released on Aug 2, and include Lion and Mountain Lion.

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
To delete a mail account in Mail, open Mail, and go to Mail menu > Preferences > Accounts. Then, select the account you want to remove and press the - button.
Then, press the + button to add the AOL mail account

Sometimes you have to reset the SMC two or three times for it to work, don't know why. I've seen that error message before and 100% of the time it was fixed with an SMC reset. I suppose it's possible that your keyboard or mouse IS drawing too much power, do you have access to another you could try?

You don't want to install the software that came with the drive, you don't need it and it will be problematic. Connect the new drive, open Disk Utility, select the new drive and partition it using the GUID partition scheme, then format it as Mac OS extended journaled and it will be easy to use with your Mac.
