I have Mdl MC676LL ver. 4.2.10(8E600). How do I sync with my iMac? How do I know if my contacts, photos, etc are being backed up? The Mobile Me thing is unavailable.

The setup , as was mentioned, is basically the same as a Wimndows Mobile device. You need mail server name, your domain login and credentials You will also need to check you wi-fi connection and be sure you can get rhough whatever enterprise proxy servers you might have. If you have 3g I would use that and not mess around with a proxied network, if that is an issue for you.
One additional caveat....adding another mobile device significantly increases the complexity of your mail delivery system. There are articles on the Microsoft kbase that talk about Outlook calendaring best practices. Watch for calendar consistency issues. You might consider running Outlook in online rather than cached mode, or at the minimum deleting and rebuilding your cache file. -
I have just purchased a 5S iphone, when I tried to sync with my Imac it comes up with "...requires iTunes version 11.1 or later.." my iTunes version is 10.6.3, I rechecked software updates but says there is no updates required??? I checked when last auto update was done which was 01/07/12 I also tried downloading from web iTunes version 11.1.5 but it wont load because I don't have min version 10.6.8. What can I do to sort this out? Note: I am a not computer savy so be easy on me.
If your computer is running an OS X prior to Snow Leopard 10.6,
the answer (if it is an Intel-based Mac; not old PowerPC model)
would be to buy the retail Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD from Apple
for about $20, and install it. Then update that to 10.6.8 by using
the installed Snow Leopard online to get Combo Update v1.1 for
Snow Leopard 10.6.8. After that is installed & updated, run the
system's Software Update again, to see what else is available to
that system.
Later systems can then be looked into at Mac App Store, once
the computer is running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
And if your computer is a Power PC (G4/G5, etc) and has no
Core2Duo kind of CPU -- See "About this Mac" in apple menu
to disclose the general info about your Mac. Also you can see
even more by clicking on "More Info" when looking in there...
If it isn't an Intel-based Mac, it can't run a system past 10.5.8.

I see different photos in My Photo Stream on each of my devices.
Your device will keep up to 1000 photos, even if they are older than 30 days. Photos older than 30 days are removed from the iCloud server, so all devices may not have the same photos, depending on when you enabled My Photo Stream.
You may want to sync the older photos through iTunes to get them on your new iPad mini.

I have Outlook installed on my MacBook Air and it doesn't sync with my iPad mini or iPhone 4S when I delete a message. However, when I delete a message on either the iPad mini or iPhone, the message deletes on the MacBook Air.

I don't have the original laptop my iphone was set up on. I have backed up all my data on icloud. If I sync with my new laptop and erase all my contents(restore to factory settings), can I then get it all from icloud?
I have the same problem as the emails go to my iCloud account that I cannot access!!! I cannot answer the security questions as someone else must have set up my iCloud account. Nothing seems to work. It would be great if someone has some ideas as what can be done to recover the situation?

I do not fully understand you question. To use iCloud on an iOS device requires iOS 5 and the 2G only goes to iOS 4.1.2 and thysyu can't access iCloud, including contacts.
Maybe you could sync the iCloud contacts with anopther program and sync that program with the 2G iPod.

I have taken over someone else job so have two email accounts on my Entourage - as the past account had all the folders and past emails when I sync my mail onto my iphone I can not see the folders and any past emails. How can I sync all of her old mail account info (emails and folders) to my email account to make ONE email account?!

You can both share the same iTunes account for iTunes content, but you need separate Apple ID's to use iCloud, iMessage, FindMyPhone & FaceTime. The Apple ID's for iCloud, etc. MUST be verifiable email addresses. If you don't setup separate Apple ID's for this suff, you'll have a mess on your hands. I have just got a new mac book pro. When I synced my iphone 4s with it my audible book files were deleted from my phone though they are on the computer still. A pop up said my iphone was not authorised to play on this computer. Everything else is there just not my audio books from Audible. I'm half way through a book, what do I do?
The iphone is not a backup device.
You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
