I have more songs on my ipod than on my itunes libary, how do i sync the ipod ones to the itunes libary?
On my ipod i have 824 songs and on my Itunes libary i have 375. How do i get the songs on my ipod on to my itunes libary?

But when I try to synced up my iPod to the laptop, iTunes won't complete the sync, saying I have several thousand more songs on my iPod than I really do. What's happening? It was working and syncing perfectly fine yesterday.on iTunes, select your device and check the songs/albums you would like to sync with it.Do the same with your another device. This should sync the selected songs/albums only for that device.

I have different songs on my iPhone than I have in my iTunes library. When I try to sync it says it wants to wipe my iPhone. How can I sync it and keep my songs on my phone?
It is from a different computer and includes songs from CDs that I created different playlists and items I purchased from itunes. The original computer crashed and I was able to restore the songs to my new computer from the backup on another backup drive but not all of the songs synced to the new computer. Now I have some songs on my iPhone that do not match the songs in my library on my new PC. This happened once before but I cannot remember how I solved for it.

HT4914 I have more music in my cloud than on my itunes library.
How can I get what is in the cloud into my library so that I can put it on my new ipod classic? I bought the classic because I needed more music than I could store on my phone. i subscribed to match but cant do that on the classic itself. Wehn i plug it into my laptop to sync all music it only takes the music from the library not the cloud.

The Other section on your iPod consists of a number of different things, including album artwork, your iPod's software, files you may be storing externally on it, games, and a few other things. However, it can usually include corrupt files from failed sync operations with iTunes. Usually the Other section should only be a small fraction of what's stored on your iPod, usually less than 1 GB.
So it sounds like your iPod may be corrupt, in which case you'll need to connect it to iTunes and restore it to factory settings.

i have about 800 more songs on my nano than itunes, due to a crash. How can I get the songs onto itunes from the ipod, or at least get the new music ive gotten since the crash onto my ipod without deleting all the other songs when it syncs?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases -
I have more songs than I can put on Ipod. Will unclick some songs but one at a time is taking forever. How can I un-click all songs in an album without doing each singly, to reduce space needed on iPod? Thanks
Why not try syncing a smart playlist that updates automatically every time you sync your iPod?
Try something like this:
1. Pull down File > New Smart Playlist;
2. Playlist IS Music; click the plus button;
3. Last Played IS NOT in the last 90 days;
4. Select the option to Limit to xxx items selected by Random and click OK.
Name the playlist that is created something distinctive then sync you iPod with that. It will automatically update based on the last played dates of a tune and you'll always have fresh content on your iPod. Modify the playlist as needed to make it give you the results you want.

I can not seem to add any more songs to my ipod. Normally i just click and drag songs i have highlighted in my itunes folders up to the Administrators' ipod and it puts a copy there in my ipod. however i keep getting a message saying there is not enough room . . . and so can't add another song. I have deleted heaps of songs off my ipod to ensure sufficient room for these new songs i want to load but i keep failing - why would that be? Is the space not freeing up when i delete exiting music off my ipod for some reason - or any other reason?
Try rebooting your iPod with it still connected to iTunes. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
How exactly are you deleting this tracks from the iPod?

My computer wont let me have bought songs on my iPod
Before i was able to have bought songs be synced but now it wont let me have my songs on my iPod. When i press "sync" it responds "some of the songs in your iTunes libary, including 'When i grow up' were not copied onto the iPod 'Meghan's iPod' because you are not althorized to lay them on this computer"

How can I see that I already have a song on my Ipod and review my full list of songs all together? So I don't reload the same song.
In iTunes, try changing "album artist" tag to the same name for eack track,
also make sure that "track number" values are correct and different for each.

My itunes account doesn't list "devices" above the playlist, as the syncing instructions give. How can I sync the itunes I have purchased & downloaded to my computer, to my ipod shuffle? If the shuffle is now recognized, there may have been a USB device conflict previously, or maybe all of the devices connected at the same time overloads the USB bus (for power). An iPod charges its battery while connected, so it is a high-power USB device.
