I have moved and changed ISP from Brighthouse to Verizon.   I am receiving my icloud emails, but the senders are receiving messages that they are undeliverable. I can't find the cause or solution to the problem.  Any thoughts?

PS. I have deleted Roadrunner accounts, and reset new email account. 

You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

    I am very much a novice with Final Cut.  I am trying to import some video files from  my desktop but keep getting an error message that says, "File error  1 file recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown".  The file type is .mov, 35MB, 1920 x 1080, Codec MPEG-2 video linear PCM timecode, color profile HD (1+1+1).  Can someone help?  Thanks, Paul

    You can't import MPEG-2 files directly to FCP X.
    Can you play this file in Quicktime Player? If so, then you can use the free program MPEG Streamclip to convert this to Quicktime. Use the ProRes codec.

    - Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. (this was already sugested) There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
    Try the following to rule out a software problem
    - Check also Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing. Make sure that the sound balance is not set all the way to "R".
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

    If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

    I started to download Firefox and without realizing it I agreed to some additional programs that I do not want on my computer. The ones I can identify are ConstaSurf and SearchProtect. When I try to delete them, I get a notification that they are in use or in another file, and it won't let me delete them. I would like to delete them and then try downloading Firefox more carefully.     For step 1 - Uninstall ConstaSurf program from your computer - thru the Control Panel
    If that's where you get that message about them bring in use, try closing Firefox and any other browsers that you may have open and then try to uninstall those two.

    Wild guess but if your WinXP system has formatted your drive(s) as FAT32 then the maximum file size is 4GB.  Could be that the download in 1080p is >4GB?  (if formatted NTFS then this should not be a problem).
    Again just a guess with iTunes on WinXP but something easy to check first.

  • I have been using iphoto 09 and am now unable to import photos from my camera.  I get the message that they are being imported but after 10 minutes nothing has actually been imported.

    I have just been trying to import photos from mine and my husbands cameras but nothing seems to be happening.  I get the message to wait while they are being imported but after 10-15 minutes, nothing has been uploaded.  I have always had updates downloaded when they become available and can't think what I may have done wrong.
    I hope someone out there can give me some advice.  My mac is running Snow Leopard and I love it.

    As a Test:
    Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
    Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

    Apologies if this is an off-target question, but had you bought the HD season originally or just the SD version?
    The reason I ask is that I have had similiar difficulties with the autodown load and when I check for available downloads on season passes, it says all downloaded.
    Then, when I go to the store and search for the season, it first brings up the HD season indicating I would need to make a new purchase, but if I select on SD, there are my purchases and I can freely (and manually) download the latest episode without new cost.
    Needless to say, neither of us should have to go looking. Here is the iTunes technical support email: <[email protected]>. I encourage you to email them. I have already done so but I think it helps for anyone with this problem to also do so, so that they will realize it is a wider spread issue and not a human error by a single user.

  • Problems downloading photos from my camera (Panasonic Lumix). Some will download and others will not with error message that they are the wrong format (jPeg)

    Never had an issue before. Have installed latest software update and now only some of my photos will download. The rest will be recognized as a bad format (jPeg) and the camera will be ejected automatically, improperly, causing me to have to reboot the camera by removing the battery from the camera.

    As a matter of fact. After giving my camera a complete charge, I have had
    no more problems
    That is why a card reader is so useful. You do not have to wait for the camera to charge and avoid the kind of errors above.
